The new smart overtime entry screen automatically suggests the correct entry based on the time you are working. Your earnings for each overtime hour (or partial hour) are calculated automatically based on your hourly rate. Free update.

Important fix in the 2025 IRS simulator: tax deductions — separation between the global limit and deductions with no global limit. Thanks to user Nuno Oliveira for the tip. I also fixed some UI bugs that were starting to get annoying, especially parts of the interface that should appear/disappear automatically but were only updating after switching screens.

Fix for withholding calculations for people with 3 or more dependents, who benefit from a 1-percentage-point reduction in the withholding rate. Thanks to user Nuno Oliveira for pointing out this legislation. Added two usage tips to make sure even the most distracted users take advantage of all the app’s features. ;-)

The Net Salary Portugal simulator now includes a button to easily create an IRS profile based on your simulation. Some household and income details will be pre-filled automatically. Updated IRS tables for Madeira and the Azores for 2025. The IRS simulator now allows you to run a Youth IRS simulation for the year 2025, so you can start estimating the impact of this measure on the tax to pay or refund in April 2026.

Changes to withholding tax tables. According to the information provided by the national and regional governments, this update includes the withholding tax tables from August to December for mainland Portugal, and the tables for August and September for the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

Correction of a bug related to the way the app deals with the decimal separator when calculating the sum of income in the IRS simulator.

You can now create users for the 2025 IRS simulator. The tax rates are updated for 2025 for the mainland. The autonomous regions still have the 2024 rates but will be updated as soon as they become available.

Correction of the IRS Jovem calculations, automatic change of the salary simulation year to 2025 if it hasn't been selected yet, and additional bug fixes.

Bug fix. The fill fields now always feature the toolbar with "OK" to close the keyboard. The salary options had a bug when selecting the holders, dependents, regime and tax address.

Correction of small bug in the rounding of the amount to be discounted from IRS with the IRS Jovem option.

The IRS Jovem is here. If you're eligible to benefit from the Young IRS, update the app and activate the option in 'Salary Options'. You just need to fill in your date of birth and the date of your first declared income. The app will automatically apply the exemption based on your current age and the number of years worked. If you've had any interruptions in your contribution path and had one or more years without declaring IRS, you can also indicate this in the Young IRS management so that the exemption amount is adjusted. If you've been working for over 10 years, or by the end of this year you'll be over 35 years old, then forget it, this update is not for you.
