This update puts you in control of your accessory alerts, and makes your app more reliable in several areas. If you have a Live Wheel or a Live Detect, their alerts now have their own Accessories category in your alert settings: low or high pressure, tyre temperature, leak, and a sensor being opened, closed or removed. For each one, you choose how you want to be notified, by call, push notification or email. On the payments side, the app now syncs better with our servers to make sure everything went through. No more failure screen when your bank had actually accepted the payment: if the confirmation takes a little while, we tell you clearly, and your subscription activates on its own as soon as it lands, without paying twice. The page shown after your bank’s validation works again too. If the app did not have Bluetooth access yet, for instance after a reinstall, every Bluetooth step, such as updating your GeoRide or pairing a badge, stopped right away on “Bluetooth is off” without ever asking for access. The app now asks for permission first, then carries on normally. If you have Reduce Motion turned on on your iPhone, your ride playback jumped straight to the end. It now plays through normally. You can now delete a bike with no GeoRide linked, straight from its settings. And during a GeoRide update or an activation, your screen no longer locks halfway through. On the improvements side, the distance, riding time and rides counters on your profile update again, pausing or cancelling a leasing is no longer wrongly refused during the monthly direct debit, Indonesia joins the country code list, and the app uses less memory.

This update completely changes the way you reach customer service. No more chatbot opening on a web page: you now chat directly with the GeoRide team, without leaving the app. All your conversations are saved and stay available in the app, including what was said by email. Reply wherever you prefer, from the app or by email, and know the moment we answer: a push notification if the app is closed, a discreet alert if you are in it. You can also attach photos and files to explain your issue. If you are on a leasing, you can now pause or cancel it directly from the app, return instructions included. On the rides side, a new calendar lets you follow your activity over any period you choose. And maintenance mode can now be scheduled over several days, handy when your bike spends some time in the workshop. We also fixed several details: text that could get cut off, clearer file names for your invoices and ride exports, and other small adjustments based on your feedback.

This update makes updating your GeoRide more reliable. The update could fail at the very end: everything installed normally, then your GeoRide restarted to apply the new version, but the app did not wait long enough for it. It reported a failure, and your GeoRide went back to its previous version. The app now waits as long as it takes during that restart, and the update goes through. If yours never made it, launch it again from the app. And if an update still fails, the app now sends us more details so we can understand what happened and help you faster. On the map, your bike now stays clearly in view when you move the panel at the bottom of the screen. Until now, with the bike parked, the map did not reframe and your bike could stay hidden behind the panel.

This update helps you get going again when your GeoRide’s update won’t start. If your phone kept an outdated Bluetooth setup for your GeoRide, the update could stall before it even began. When that happens, the app now clearly explains what is going on and exactly what to do: turn your phone’s Bluetooth off and back on, then try again. Before, you were left with a generic message that didn’t explain what was wrong.

This update clears two roadblocks: picking a photo and allowing Bluetooth. You no longer need to grant access to your entire photo library to pick a single photo, whether you are sharing a ride, changing your bike’s photo or setting it up: the picker opens right away, with no permission needed, even if you had declined that access in the past. When the app needs Bluetooth to talk to your bike, it now asks for permission right on screen, at the right moment. Before, if that permission had never been requested, you were sent to your phone’s settings, where there was nothing to switch on yet.

This update keeps your rides list always up to date and puts you in control of the map. Your latest ride now shows up on its own: coming back to the app or opening the activity tab refreshes the list automatically. No more restarting the app to see your latest outing. On the map, when you explore a ride, the view now stays right where you put it: no more surprise reframing while you zoom in on a corner. And to get the full picture back, a recenter button appears as soon as you move the map, just like when following your bike. Finally, when you come back to the app, your bike’s protection status shows in grey while it is being checked, instead of staying green with outdated information. What you see is now always the real state.

This update makes the app’s forms clearer when something needs fixing. Until now, some fields could reject what you typed with a vague “Invalid input” message that didn’t tell you much. Every field now explains clearly, in your language, what needs to be corrected. We also fixed a blocker when activating a GeoRide: using the email address suggested by your phone could sneak an invisible space onto the end of the address and stop you from moving to the next step, even though everything looked right on screen. The address is now accepted first time.

This update makes the map more reliable when you switch between your bikes. We reworked how the map follows your bikes from the ground up. When you switch from one bike to another, the position shown is now always the right one: no more previous bike’s position staying on screen, no more map jumping to the wrong spot, no more position that stops updating until you restart the app. The demo mode bike now shows up in the right place too. On the improvements side, turning your theft alerts on or off now shows up clearly in your GeoRide’s history, with its own icon.

This update makes sure you always enjoy the best version of the app. The app now lets you know when a new version is available: as soon as you open it, a prompt offers to install it, right away or later. No more running an old version without the latest features and fixes. On Live Alarm, the continuous and intermittent patterns were swapped. Everything is back in order, with nothing to do on your side. As for refinements, the stats share button no longer shows when the period has no rides, and the demo mode map now follows the bike properly.

This update improves the ride replay and your GeoRide’s updates. When you replay a ride in 3D, your phone no longer goes to sleep mid-playback: the screen stays on from start to finish, even if you’re just watching. The “Update my GeoRide” screen no longer shows an error when there’s simply nothing to install: it now confirms that your GeoRide is up to date. And if the update details fail to load, the update itself stays available. We’ve also fixed several crashes on Android: while replaying a ride, while exporting a video, and when the app warned you in the background that Bluetooth was off.

This update makes auto recognition far more reliable and far more responsive. It no longer stops on its own. It starts again after you restart your phone and after an app update, and it keeps watching in the background even when you do not open the app. Your bike recognises you faster and more often, without you having to open anything. Two permissions are now asked during activation, each one explained before your phone asks for it, and they come back in your to-do list if you turn them off later. They are what keeps recognition running over time. And that is only half of the story: an update for your GeoRide is coming soon to make it better still. It installs from the app too, the way you were used to before. When a new version is available, the app tells you what it brings, then walks you through it step by step. You stay next to your bike, outdoors, and everything happens over Bluetooth in a few minutes. Your badge gets its own diagnostic: the app connects to it, checks its battery and its link with your phone. And changing its emission power now applies directly on the badge, in a few seconds. When someone shares their bike with you, you only see what concerns you, without the settings reserved for its owner, and you can leave the share whenever you like. On the improvements side, the critical alerts permission request works again, pairing your GeoRide no longer stops too early, your bike information stays reachable without a subscription, and several crashes tied to Bluetooth and to ride replay on Android are fixed.

This update improves your ride replays, especially the longest ones. Merged rides spanning hundreds or thousands of kilometres now replay smoothly: no more crashes or empty maps on those giant routes, and loading that could take long seconds is now almost immediate. And when you relaunch a replay you have already watched, it opens instantly. The trail you have already covered now sticks exactly to your route at every zoom level. Whether you zoom in on a bend or watch the whole ride, the trace and the moving dot stay perfectly aligned, even through mountain switchbacks. Your exported video gets better too: the camera follows the terrain to keep the framing right, over a mountain pass or across the plains. Finally, some rides recorded between mid-May and late June showed a truncated trace: they have all been repaired and display in full again.

This update polishes your ride replay and makes your GeoRide’s key steps clearer. The replay feels smoother: the camera follows your route more naturally, it launches instantly, and you can switch between map and satellite mid-playback. The actual time of day shows as your ride plays back. Your exported video now keeps the map style you picked, carries the GeoRide logo, and no longer cuts off your music during the preview. Calibrating your GeoRide or launching the radar is simpler: the redesigned screens tell you exactly where you stand — GeoRide asleep with its estimated wake-up time, offline, command refused — and you pick up right where it stopped. Motonaut can also step aside: a new setting in your profile hides it everywhere in the app — the chat, the suggestions and the button. Elevation on your rides now shows correctly: some outings reported zero or undercounted your climbs. That’s fixed, including on your past rides. We’ve also refined the experience and fixed several bugs reported through your feedback.

This update gives you a whole new way to relive your rides. See your route in 3D, right where you rode, in a light, dark or satellite view. And turn your ride into a video to share on your networks, from start to finish. The ride detail gets richer too: a new actions menu, and more info on every ride (speed, corners, elevation, weather).
