Bug fix to prevent upload errors for certain PDF forms, updated app framework for stability improvements.

This release includes bug fixes and stability improvements following a change in the app’s framework.

The QESTField App now supports authentication through the QEST Web App if connecting to a QEST Web API version 5.6+. This allows user authentication to occur through the Microsoft Entra ID integration available in QEST Platform 5.6 and above.

Automatic compression of images added to forms has now been improved to handle the scenario where third party PDF annotation apps add images in an uncompressed format.

Minor update to prevent error messages when using QEST Platform installations where push notifications are disabled.

The QESTField App will now utilize Microsoft Azure Notification Hubs for push notifications where the underlying QEST Platform system has been updated to version 4.93 to ensure uninterrupted service of push notifications after the end of 2020.

Logging in to the QESTField app from an iOS device no longer redirects the user to an external browser when the configured QESTField URL is in mixed-case.

The QESTField App will now flatten annotations on any action where form fields are also flattened. This includes previewing, publishing, and signing. Images inserted by third party PDF editors are often inserted as annotations to allow these to be more easily manipulated when editing the document. Flattening these annotations will ensure that they are not modified on reports when they should not be and will correctly show up in previews.

Images embedded on Forms will be compressed prior to synchronizing back to the QEST Platform, greatly reducing form size and bandwidth usage. Better feedback for error messages to pass onto support personnel provided on login errors. QESTField Web URI entered as "http" rather than "https" by a system administrator elegantly handled. URI settings are not accessed when not relevant, overcoming an issue that could result in stuck logins

When the app is updated alongside the underlying QEST Platform to version 4.90+, users have access to the following functionality with this version. Daily Schedule Notifications A more automated work confirmation process now exists within the QEST Platform for communicating about daily schedules. Users will receive push notifications from dispatchers when the daily schedule is ready for review. On reviewing a day's schedule, assigned work orders can be confirmed to inform the dispatcher of work approval. Daily Summary Field Report The Daily Summary Field Report represents the most efficient way to leave a summary of completed work on-site. This QESTField Tests workflow extends the existing Daily Field Inspection workflow and will automatically collate and summarize key data from previously entered workflows (like concrete and field densities) as well as any entered inspection forms. Once all the information is collated, the user will be able to preview, sign (if appropriate), and publish the report directly from their device to stakeholders on-site. This quick collation and summary of work completed in the field along with the ability for immediate distribution and approval, where appropriate, means that all project stakeholders can be kept up to date on completed work, daily.
