This is a very bad user experience that I am facing. I have tried to transfer a small amount from the US to VN, everything is smoothly and quickly that I expecting. Everything are look goods about exchange rate, no fee and hidden fee. That made me final decision to make the next transaction then. And the issue or I can said this is a problem or whatever for a users don't want to trying anymore in the future. How possibily that a transaction just need a few minutes to completed for a transaction, but for my case it's still nearly in 2 days with the transfer status is still pending now.! I have contacted to the support team and received feedback from them. All I have received that they are so sorry, this is not infrequently technical issue. The transaction will be delivery as soon as possible. I known this is not their's fault. They are just working as their roles. However, we are living in the Digital Ages that almost things can be processing and done it took for nearly instantly. How can imagine and possibilities for a platform or a technical issue that need more than 2 days without have the confirmation for the timeline to completed like this. All that I want to be sharing here is not intended to tarnish the company's image. Personally, I simply wish to hightlight these issues and how they can handle, so that the service can be improved in the future.Thank you.

Worse customer service ever experienced.

Taptap is very good and smooth when you haven’t experienced any issue that needs the attention of customer care . I have send an email with my complaint and I only received an automated message acknowledging my message and over 6 days now I haven’t gotten anyone to see me through a minor change of name issue . Call their call center and you get automated messages not even an option to be put on a waiting list . I have contacted someone through WhatsApp and I wish I didn’t even waste my time texting over there . The person who responded Mohammad has not been of any help . I expected him to state specifically documentations I need to provide to support my name change or call me sort this simple name chat thingy out but he’s just enjoy responding to messages over 12hrs later expecting me to be online the very moment he’s available. I wonder if they are short stuffed or just the GH attitude of work they are putting up here . Dear business owners of Taptap pls take a serious look into customer service because your workers in this area are killing the business. Im really really disappointed in this services . As I’m writing this review my issue have not been resolved and it’s seems no one even cares . Seriously. I’m frustrated because after I started using Taptap I deleted all other money transfer apps and cleared all my passwords because I was enjoying Taptap until I encountered this issue with customer service. And here I am over 6 days now one is leading me on what do . Just a simple name change issue .

I find this app very creepy. You start off setting up your account and they ask for few personal information and they ask for more information little by little. By the time you know it, they would’ve collected your entire life and if you want to change anything, then you’d have to contact support. That’s where the trouble begins. You can’t get anyone to talk to and they then make it almost impossible to remove your personal information or close the account. Unless you want give every personal information, even your whole life, be very careful. Too invasive and creepy, to say the least.By the time you finish setting up, you feel like you were seeking employment with the FBI. They take everything you’ve lived for and then turn around and say that they have to closed your account. I’ve used PayPal, xoom and never a problem and PayPal itself for over 10 years and no problem with my ID but these folks claim there’s a problem and yet they can’t tell me because of government regulations as if the government is afraid of me. Creepy folks!!! Please run far and don’t follow their very creepy approach. Next time they will ask for your parking ticket, airline boarding pass, and maybe utility bill as well as your X-ray photos

Unfinished app and careless customer service

Taptap send is an unfinished project and they are very careless of customers. Do not send your money through here!!! Initially I thought they will send money only to mobile money account but no, they will transaction to any phone number even if the user to not have an active mobile money account. I initiate a transaction base on the understanding that the transaction will not go through if the user doesn’t have an active mobile money account Mistake (unfinished app). With fess hours that the receiver told me that they can access the funds, I tried to cancel but again another issue here (customer do not have ability to cancel a transaction even within one minute of completion). I check the cancellation request process and contacted via email, WhatsApp and even call. Over a week of my request the transaction is still not canceled and they will give the same status of my request being escalated to their partner in Cameroon pending response (unprofessional and careless) they have not been able to set real expectations on when I will have my money back so this can take months!!! This money was for my mom health emergency and I can’t having back on time for her bills and médecines. Please do not use this app to send your money it will at your own risk, because they will not be able to assist you in case of issues with your transaction. Zero customer service!! Run with your money !!!
