It does what it says: shows a calendar of news events, and displays impact (high/med/low) and values (previous, forecast and actual) for the events. There are even notifications for upcoming events that can be turned on, integrated with your calendar. Updated: the data feed is actually pretty fast; updated on the last news event in about 10-15 seconds.A couple of things this needs to be 5 stars and, frankly, worth the purchase price. A must-have is the ability to adjust the filter to only show events of a specific impact (e.g., high and medium); of news event types (e.g., speeches, employment, central banks) and currencies (don't need to see everything).It would be nice if there were a visual indicator of where we are, a separator between previous and upcoming events. Yes we have the "Next Event" link, but I need to see easily at a glance what's coming up next.And it would be nice if there was some label for impacted currencies to help identify, more than just the flag. Like perhaps hover text over the flag that expressed "EUR", "GBP" and so on. I don't always recognize the flags. :)

If you're a trader, this does exactly what you'd expect it to do. Id like to see different filter systems to see selected countries with the ability to add if I want to see High and Mid impact, or just low impact events, etc. Maybe the layout to scroll down is a bit meh.. A visual week laout from left to right with the ability to scroll down according to the events on that day would be very beneficial and also having the ability to create a "rolling" layout that shows today with a trailing week ahead. Overall, great basic calendar,has the potential to be a really popular event calendar app.
