Say hi to every font on the web. Click WhatFont in Safari, hover over any text to see its font, and click for its size, weight, color and the CSS.
WhatFont is the quickest way to identify fonts on web pages, right inside Safari on your Mac.
Click WhatFont in the Safari toolbar, then hover over any text to see its font. Click the text to see everything about its font:
• The font’s name, drawn in the font itself
• Where it comes from: Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, a web font, or a font on your Mac
• Size, weight, line height and letter spacing
• The text color, in hex and other formats
• The font stack, with the font in use picked out
Click any value to copy it, or copy all the CSS at once. Open as many panels as you like to compare fonts side by side. When you’re done, click Exit WhatFont, or reload the page.
PRIVATE
WhatFont reads a page only when you click WhatFont on it. It doesn’t ask for access to every website. No accounts, no tracking, no ads, and it collects no data.
GETTING STARTED
Open WhatFont, click Turn On, and select WhatFont in Safari’s list of extensions. Then click WhatFont in the toolbar on any page. To use it in Private Browsing, turn on Allow in Private Browsing in Safari Settings.
Designers and developers have used WhatFont to identify fonts on the web for more than a decade.

Good app, but blinking issue

Hello, awesome plug-in, but I've found that some items may flicker on the page load, if your plugin is installed in Safari. usually it happens, when item has "transform: xxx" property in css. Then it flickers while loading and it happens only with your plug-in on and makes debugging more complex. Could you make it stop flickering? So much help!
A wonderful little Safari extension that identifies web fonts in use

While it’s new to the App Store, I’ve been using WhatFont for a while; it’s great for font geeks like me, designers and developers. When you open WhatFont the first time, it’ll ask you to activate it in Safari preferences; then it’ll install a little button next to the search window on Safari. When you click the button, it activates Whatfont, and when you hover over text on a website, it’ll display an elegant little “tooltip”-style bubble that tells you what font you’re seeing. Then, if you tap/click, a larger window opens that shows you the font family, stack info, style, weight, size, line height and hex number. An “Exit WhatFont” bubble-button sits at the top right of the Safari window, so you can deactivate it and get back to regular viewing as soon as you have your info. Truly helpful, very simple.
Excellent Staple Safari Extension

Been using WhatFont for a couple years now, and it’s really great to see the developer maintains the app after 8+ years, just recently releasing a new universal binary for Apple Silicon. The app itself is incredibly user friendly and I’ve never had a single issue. Thank you!
Very useful extension

Been using it since it was still hosted on GitHub. In the macOS Mojave update Apple shut down all extensions not from the Safari Extensions Gallery, so I'm quite happy it's come back on the App Store!
WhatFont is rebuilt for today’s Safari, with a fresh look. Click WhatFont in the toolbar, hover over any text to see its font, and click for size, color and more. WhatFont now reads a page only when you click it, so Safari no longer asks to give it access to every website. If you already use WhatFont, it stays turned on after the update.
