We’re excited to introduce Standards Tagging on the Class Stream, a new way for teachers to connect student work on the Class Stream directly to Units and Curriculum Standards. This creates a connection between the Learning Outcomes covered in the class and students’ evidence of learning. Teachers can tag any standards available on ManageBac, including IB, PYP Scope & Sequences, Pearson, Cambridge, and all Atlas Standards, ensuring comprehensive coverage across programmes. By tagging standards, teachers can highlight the skills and competencies demonstrated by students, creating a clear connection between teaching and learning. We’ve made ManageBac even more mobile-friendly with the new Files and Members pages for Classes, Year Groups, and Groups. These pages help teachers, students, and parents stay connected and productive while they’re away from their computers. Class, Year Group, and Group Files Easily access, upload, and share important resources from your phone or tablet to your Classes, Year Groups, or Groups. Take photos or scan documents directly within the app and upload them to ManageBac. Seamlessly share files from cloud storage providers (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox). Quickly share files from ManageBac to other devices using AirDrop. Class, Year Group, and Group Members Quickly view and contact members of your Classes, Year Groups, and Groups. Teachers can quickly find and access students’ profiles or portfolio pages and easily find contact details. Designed to keep teachers, students, and parents connected, Class Stream helps simplify classroom organization. Share and Organize Class Content Teachers and students can easily share images, videos, documents, websites, and notes directly to the Class Stream. Teachers can tag specific students to personalize content and ensure only the intended students see each post. Any work shared by students is automatically added to their Portfolios, and teachers can choose to include shared content in student Portfolios. Highlight Skills and Learning To support skill development, teachers can tag ATL skills and Learner Profile attributes to any Class Stream post. With an engaging, media-rich layout and dedicated content previews for every file type, the Class Stream makes it easy to follow what’s happening in the class, whether you’re a teacher, student, or parent.
