I have had 3 out of the original 4 investments default. One was able to negotiate and get out of default, but the other 2 have been in default for 2 years. I am waiting while they continue to try to recover the money. The legal battle for both is ongoing and lengthy. Hopefully they will pan out and recovery will be successful. I don’t need the money, so I can wait as long as needed, but I probably won’t be investing anymore until after everything is resolved.

Great platform, lacks potential for growing investor
Marcus Norman
I absolutely love this platform and think it’s necessary for the world and if given the chance, would love to invite one of its leaders to be interviewed on my own podcast so that I can spread awareness about the positives of this platform and what they can do. My desire and what’s missing, to me, are the smaller investments that allow one to “grow into” an accredited investor overtime which can happen over time as profits/gains are made. I currently invest in the prism fund and saving a percentage of my business earning so that I can invest the $5K into its real estate fund in the next couple of months (tax season). Additionally, over the years I desire to invest more and more into things like the prism fund and then graduate to much larger assets classes. As my net worth grows overtime i, and I feel many others, can be able to grow into an accredited investor and take part in the larger deals. By this I feel Yieldstreet has not only taken advantage of its current demographic of wealthy individuals but can also secur it’s “future” investors aswell by allowing early entry.
Getting trapped in their mistake
ME419
I had signed up for this app and followed what seemed to be a really simple process; putting in your information, validating that information and then linking a bank account and transferring money. Little did I know that I had just entered the biggest bug this app has, APPARENTLY in that work flow before I linked a bank account and transferred money there was one last validation step. I was apparently supposed to receive an e mail to submit paperwork to valid my investor status (even when this happened the “link” didn’t even take me to an active page it just endlessly loaded) so because none of this happened my money was now stuck in limbo because I technically couldn’t keep it in the app because I wasn’t a “valid” investor, AND I had closed the original linked accountant. Additionally Yieldstreet wouldn’t let me add another new account to transfer the money out of the app even though you can add a max of three linked accounts. Needless to say they clearly have a lot of bugs to workout, and I’m still trying to get a solution.

Hi ME419, We sincerely apologize for the negative experience you had. Sometimes, a manual review process is triggered in our system as a means to protect our investors and Yieldstreet from potential fraud. Such flagged transactions are monitored frequently, reviewed and manually processed if it’s concluded there is no risk. This flagged transaction experienced a delayed resolution due to a technical error in the sign up flow. These issues are now resolved and the funds are on their way back to you. If you have any further questions please contact the team at investments@yieldstreet.com. We apologize again for the inconvenience. Best, The Yieldstreet Team
They Screw People for a Living
Mloggia
These people basically raise money from unassuming investors who don't realize they have the very last priority in getting paid back on every deal. Do not invest with these people, literally else you do with your money is better. Your capital will be locked up for years before you realize either a partial or full loss. They are also beyond terrible communicators and can't give you a mark to market on any investments. Also when they do lose all your money it will take them 18 months to even show the loss so you can get a tax benefit ( these tax losses are the highlight of my investing with them). Unfortunately I learned this all the hard way and I work in finance. My fault for trusting them, please don't make the same mistake, whoever runs this Ponzi scheme should be in jail.
