Works with any inkjet printer, laser printer or thermal printer from mydpi, DYMO, GoDEX, ROLLO, TSC, Zebra and more. Print labels with barcodes, import spreadsheet data, define variables with date and time, generate serial numbers and fine-tune images and print it all on your printer. Import Spreadsheets Compatible with Apple Numbers, Microsoft Excel (XLS) or comma separated value (CSV) documents. Each column name is made available as a variable for use within the label. Full date and time support with natural language processing and formatting. Print a range of rows or an individual row. This app/program works very well. It does require an expensive purchase to unlock the useful features. It would be nice to have a 30 day trial period for this feature so that you can be sure it is worth it before investing so much. It has all the features we need but could be updated to be a more user friendly.

I don’t write reviews very often, but when a company goes above and beyond, I like to give them a shout out. I had an issue with the quality of my logo the first time I used Label LIVE so I sent an email asking for some help. It was in the evening so I wasn’t expecting a reply any time soon, but was shocked to receive a reply shortly after. I was even more shocked at the content. The email was very detailed and thorough. I couldn’t believe all the time he took to provide so much information. He listed several different resources I could check into, as well as gave suggestions I could try. I can’t recommend Label LIVE enough! On top of being an easy application to use, having a ton of different features included, and the ability to customize labels so quickly, the owner/developer is a genuinely caring individual who takes pride in his product and actually cares that his customers are satisfied/happy. I haven’t received this level of customer service in a very long time. If you are looking for label printing software/app, look no further! Label LIVE is all you need!

buggy, excel feature does not work. Update: developer contact and ensuing threat.

regularly freezes, does not import data. reached out to devs a few times, have gotten no response after including my data sheet and label design file. slows me down more than it helps my business.Update: so the developer reached out to me and asked me to download a version of the app off his website because the issue I’m reporting is a known issue and was only fixed in the version not sold on the app store. He also requested that I migrate my license from the App store to his personally managed license. When i told him i wasn’t comfortable with that and asked him when he would update the App Store version of the app to the same as the one on his website, he stated he’d get around to it “eventually” because he’s a single developer and included a newspaper cut out of his personal activities with children to prove how busy he is. Not relevant to my inquiry, and i found it in poor taste to emotionally manipulate a client that paid for a business license and is asking for a basic functionality that was advertised in the app to be working.I proceeded to do as he asked, and after some back and forth on the ridiculousness of the situation, he wrote back me after seeing my review. In that email, he threatens to revoke my license because of my review. Proceed at your own caution. The excel feature does not work correctly in the App Store version, the developer knows, and isn’t updating this version until he feels like it.

Developer Response
Hi! Thank you for contacting me. I’m glad we could get you back up and running within an hour. I’m not exactly sure why you said you received no response when you did. Oh well. Update: Yes, I sent a “proud dad” clipping to show that I’m a real person, not some huge megacorp. I am a bit behind with updating the App Store version but should have a release ready in about a month. Anyone experiencing this very specific and rare bug can contact me for a workaround.Regarding threatening behavior. Never. The user said they found another solution and I assured them: “I won’t deactivate your license. Just in case you are occasionally forced use it. 😉” There is no reason for me to be mean about label printing software. The world is already hard enough as it is. I hope everyone sees how emotional label printing can make people. This stuff is challenging! Cheers!

I discovered this app 3 years ago and tested the trial version for a bit, communicated with the developer a few times about issues I had. Note: developer responds to messages almost instantly, day or night (does this person sleep? ;)FFW to today, the app is flawless, and does everything I need it to do and MORE, more more... Works with sheet or roll printers of every size and brand I own. Straight foward and easy user interface. You can design and layout your own label, import data from spreadsheets, CSV, VCF. Save the label design and import new/different data. Add images to the label, etc, etc. This is so much better than the app that comes with Brother and Dymo printers, for a very acceptable price.Did I mention the amazing customer service: Almost instant tech support, including fancy hints to make your labels even better.I can keep going on and on... Seriously: The first app on the web that has no flaws.
