Personal Wine Cellar Database
WineCellar is designed to allow users to manage their cellars and keep track of their wines in a simple tabular view of the world. It is ideal for the person who is currently using a spreadsheet to track their wine.
The app works on iPhone, iPad and MacOS devices. You can use iCloud to keep your devices in synch. You will then have an up to date copy in your pocket on those buying trips to the cellar door or wine store.
The app is optimised for entering data quickly and, importantly, for sorting and searching for wines under any criteria. Barcodes can be scanned to add or find bottles in your own cellar.
Flexible functions allow you to add individual bottles, add multiple bottles of the same wine in a single action, move bottles, open bottles, set up your racks or locations to match your physical storage/s, search by many options, sort a search result to suit and do data checks to review the integrity of your cellar.
Data can be imported from CSV files for those currently using spreadsheets to track their wines.

When my 20+ year old Wine Spectator cellar management program became incompatible with my iPad I needed to move 500+ bottles to a new program. This app is my second try - after giving up on the first selection. I especially appreciate the auto fill feature which saves so much time - especially when I’m recording the blend percentages of bottles. Congratulations to the app developer who is obviously a wine collector too - with the same problems the rest of us encounter.
Excellent DB design, but with a few quirks
Tom Frenock
The database developers pretty much thought of every field needed to catalog wines. I especially like the sorting options available. That said, I have one quirky thing happen. Every time that I edit a wine, I have to reselect the color for the band on the icon. Not a biggie, but I imagine that it could be fixed. Maybe nobody reported it yet. Otherwise, it is exactly what I was looking for.
Great app!

Very easy to use. I entered 45 bottles in a few minutes. Allows exact location to be included in entries. Keeps opened bottles in database and they can be recalled. Thorough documentation. I am enthused about expanding my cellar.
- Layout changes for iOS 26 compatibility.
- Extended support for windowed apps on iPad
- Some small bug fixes.
