My son didn't engage with the app. It was just drills of words. I wish the audio was better and I would've liked to see more diversity in the actors. One of the actors seemed to have speech difficulties himself and I am not really enthused about getting my son to mimic him. Unfortunately, I would not recommend.In contrast to another app, this app did excel in a feature where it gave the user a path to learning words.Note* I did not use the app beyond the free trial. Your results may vary.

I can’t thank you enough

My son has 2nd level autism, and he HAD speech delay. Why I am writing HAD, because he had it until I found this incredible application. My husband, me, his speech therapist - everybody was trying to make him to say at least mom and dad, but no success. When I downloaded this app I thought at least he will play games. After ONE WEEK I saw how my son is imitating lip movements of the kids from the screen, but still no sound and it already was a miracle for us at least he tries to imitate. After 2 WEEKS he said his first words MOM,MOM,MOM, then DAD,DAD,DAD. OMG my husband And I were in tears. Because psychologist said he may never speAk, and now after 6 months he is putting 2-3 words together, sometimes making short sentences. For someone else it may seem pretty normal for a kid at his 32 months to say these words, but for a mom with a kid with autism its a miracle. Thank you so much for this application.

I tried this on the seven day free trial - which you can only get if at the end the can charge you over $50, get cant trial if you intend to roll into monthly, which is sketchy to begin. The kids - who others have noted have pretty heavy accents - just repeat the words, and it is like the app is hearing the kids say the words and so tells my kid good job whether she said anything at all. Haven’t tried the app “Speech Blubs” yet, because I tried this one first because it was cheaper. Seems like this may be a cheap (well, cheaper, because it’s certainly not cheap!) knockoff of that app.Long story short, don’t waste your time or money.

I was extremely excited to download this app since I saw so many good reviews. The first day we opened the app he was happy to see himself and giggled. Then the kids repeating the words scared him and he ran away screaming. We tried a few times and he definitely didn’t enjoy it. The kids voices weren’t very clear and even if you turn down the volume it was still not very clear. I cancelled the subscription I hope I’m not charged for the full year I don’t think we had it installed for more than a week.
