Additional security feature called Confirmation of Payee (CoP). CoP is an account name-checking service which provides greater assurance that you are sending payments to the correct person or business. It offers another layer of protection in the fight against fraud and scams, and accidentally misdirected payments. CoP applies to UK domestic payments sent and received in pounds sterling. It does not apply to international payments.

EFG Banking has been extended to include the ability to process QR-Bill slips (Swiss Postal Payments). Swiss clients will be able to scan the QR code printed on the payment slip and send the payment from their mobile device.

This new version corrects the problem that prevented IAMs to use the application after the release of the Swiss payments feature.

Orange payment slips can now be processed quickly and easily using the mobile payments scan tool within the EFG Banking app. To set up a secure payment using an orange payment slip, you can simply scan the code printed on the slip with a registered mobile device. When you have entered the chosen payment date, the debit account and some additional information about the beneficiary, you will be ready to go. In addition to processing orange payment slips, the new version of the app will allow you to access your full list of payments (including those entered through the browser-based eBanking system) and manage your list of confirmed beneficiaries. The payments entered through your mobile application will be also visible on the browser-based eBanking system.
