This drum has such a luscious sound that it’s a shame you can’t do more with it. It’s not made to load into your DAW or AUM, all you can do is record which means you can’t play along with anything else. I’m only giving it 3 stars because I feel deceived by the fact that you pay $1.99 for this drum and they ask for another $1.99 to access more than just a few skins. I don’t see anything about “in game purchases” so I am having to watch commercials to temporarily own the additional skins. I would have gladly paid more money for more features.

The sounds are very authentic to the real drums. This app also allows the user to try different types of drums so you can consider buying a real drum. It has many scales and several drum types. I found that they are accurate and a good judge of the real drums. I also suggest doing other research before purchasing a real drum but this app really give you a good idea to start. I did NOT experience any issues with the app. Sounds are great and works very well with the AirPod Pro earphones.

The app does a fine job of emulating a hang or thumb drum. The only thing I see missing is a way to get a “thud” or non-musical sound. On most real instruments, this is done by tapping on the side or sometimes the center. Currently the center tap produces a “ting!” sound which is nice, but does not seem to fit anywhere. Hopefully some form (edge or center) will be added in the future.It does give you the ability to try the concept at a very low price. 🤩

This app has a choice of back rounds, ambient sounds, and for a small fee animated skins, record, and unlock the scales. I like the tones of the drums very nice and calming. I found no lag in sound.
