• With the Handball app by Playfinity, you make throwing and catching and engaging activity at every practice.
• Players and coaches say Playfinity brings out the competitive spirit and allows the players to manage stress in a training environment whilst having fun. The players want to play again and again which allows the coach to focus on how they play and leave the timing, counting and tracking progress to the Playfinity Handball app.
• Each Playfinity ball is packed with sensors and can measure and detect throws, catch, bounce, miss, height, airtime and speed (early version). Combining these parameters in different ways, we translate exercises into fun games on and off the court.
• The games combines analogue rules (such as “a play field”) with digital rules such as points per throw, points per meter height, penalty for airtime etc.
• Set Up in less than a minute. Open the app, choose a game, all balls connect with a click, and just press play. When the session is over, the balls go to sleep by themselves saving power for the next round of ball games.
• Main features:
◦ Games - Choose between a variety of games. All games are introduced with a video clip, and a setup description. All games have different training benefits with the first ones focusing on throwing and catching. Games can be played by 2 or more players per ball. Many new games are under development.
◦ Multiplayer - You can have up to 10 live balls at one time. This enables you activate the whole team or selected groups in one go. To unlock the ability to play with more than 2 balls you need the Handball Club Case with 6 balls.
◦ Overview - During each round of the game, the speaker will say which team is in the lead. As a coach you can follow the progress of all teams on the screen.
◦ Again and again - Add more rounds with a click and see how teams progress. Players love this as they challenge themselves and their teammates.
◦ Analysis - Engaging infographics and data allows you to have a dialogue with the players on how they played and what tasks they will do to improve their own performance in the next round.
“Handball by Playfinity” is made for the “Playfinity Team Case” that consists of 6 enhanced Playfinity balls, optimised for this app. If you do not have a team case, you can use standard Playfnity balls, but limited to two balls at the time.
