INFORMATIVE REVEIW! Firstly, I’m going to cover some important info about the referral feature so you don’t make the mistake I did and then I’ll move on with the rest of my review. The Pi app as it is currently, does not use your phone, data or internet, to power it while the app is closed. You will acquire your Pi passively after activating it on the app every 24h. (Simply put there’s a giant pool that the Pi generates from every 24h, this is why the app can be closed and your phone even off completely and you’ll still acquire your Pi). - As of this review Pi has no actual value. While in Phase 3 or after, is when Pi should have a use and then will have a value. So it’s good to start stocking up on it now while you can. (Bitcoin started off by having no use and no value, look at what that has become now) - The reason for having the daily login to acquire your Pi, is so the community can stay active. “Company scrip was an intriguing idea. Basically mine owners would pay their workers in a currency that they made up. Here is the catch, the “currency” could only be used at shops that were also owned by the mine. You could buy stuff with it but only if you were buying from the mine who paid you the “currency” in the first place, all the while the mine was actually the one making any money. That is what is happening here. You are making this company money by watching ads(even if you can turn off adds, there are some who don’t and conveniently you gain more Pi by inviting more people, AKA increasing the odds of getting someone to watch adds) and they are paying you company script. Previous times I have got on here and talked to mods, they really talked up the fact that you will be able to use Pi in pi based applications and peer to peer transactions, sound familiar? At the end of this you will be lucky to buy an nft from another user.” This was a message I put into chat being critical of the platform, it was then deleted(does not violate any rules) and upon posting again I was banned from chatting. I feel like this is probably what is going on here as I have posted criticism in the chat before, even conversing with the mods and have never had messages deleted or been shadow banned. Here are the facts: Pi Network has only been in exsistance since March 14th of 2019. As of the writing of this review Pi still has zero real value as it is not currently a “traded” commodity on any exchange (the way bit coin and other cryptocurrency’s are today, which is what defines there current monetary values). Pi is a new cryptocurrency that was “invented” by several PhDs at Standford. You can “mine” for Pi from a cell phone unlike other cryptocurrencies which take some high end specialized computer builds to mine. Yes the longer you wait to start mining the lower ur mining rate will be. Yes they are currently running 1 ad when you go into the app to help to cover the server/node maintenance cost of running your account. YOU CAN TURN ADDS OFF IN YOUR PROFILE after 3 days of mining. The app is still in development and they are taking user input to make changes based on what people in the network want/suggest. There is a chance that the value if Pi never amounts to anything but there is also a chance that Pi does amount to a real monetary value. The value cannot be predicted, its monetary value will be dependant on its scarcity and public demand, just like any other publicly commodity (such as currency, stock, precious metal). DO NOT expect to be able to turn your Pi into REAL money for at least another year or two (they are in phase 2 now, it will gain “monetary” value sometime during phase 3). This is only an opportunity to get in “early” on this under development new cryptocurrency for the common man. All you have to do to mine is push 1 button in the app and it will start a 24hr cycle of mining for you. To date I HAVE NOT received any spam or other unwanted calls or emails that came from using the Pi app. I like the “potential” this app offers me to get in near the ground floor on the latest up coming cryptocurrency.
