I went into this game expecting to play it for a couple of days, then drop it like most other Mobil games I download, however I was pleasantly surprised by the fun that I’ve had over the last couple of weeks. It’s very similar to all the other merge games on the market, however this one in particular has a really nice story with really nice characters to go along with it. I stoped playing the other merge games because you just end up doing the same thing with no change in gameplay, however EverMerge gives you plenty of different things to do and you are constantly chasing after a different merge tree, whether it’s building axes to find Paul Bunian, or constructing small huts on your way to making a Mansion for our favorite coffee-loving princess. If you want to play a merge game, play this one. Obviously a free game like this has in app purchases but you really never need to use them, and it’s not really shoved in your face to do so. One thing I would recommend to the devs is to make gems more useful. Currently the premium currency in the game takes a long time to collect and doesn’t pay off very much. I think making optional rewards that can only use gems, like the ones in Merge Dragons, or making the option to use gems for purchases that would otherwise require real world money, like those fancy premium islands you can see floating around. Other than that, it’s a great game and I can’t wait to see what they add to it!

UPDATE: I stuck around and have played the game every day since I wrote my original review. Yeah, it’s kind of annoying that you need your gnomes for everything, but you get used to the rhythm of the game. Plus, the developers have added many new features and aspects to the game that keep it interesting and fun. I’ve been playing for almost a year now and it looks like I’ll be playing for a while.ORIGINAL: I have been playing this game consistently for several weeks, maybe even months. (With quarantine time it’s hard to tell. LOL) I’m currently on level 23 and even spent some real money to buy extra pieces of land. More than once I thought to myself, “Finally! A merge game that isn’t super annoying!” BUT the recent update changed all of that. Originally you had two little helpers (gnomes) that would build things for you. While your gnomes where working you could do things like harvest building materials and ingredients. Now with the new update you need the gnomes to harvest AND build which really constricts the game. What’s worse, the developers didn’t give you a way out. Would I buy an extra gnome to help me complete tasks? Sure. But there’s no way to permanently hire an extra gnome. I’m giving the game two stars for now and will stick around for a while to see if the developers make any changes. If not, I’ll delete the game and find something else to occupy my time.

I have an issue and maybe an idea for your events. Because even with 3 days unless a person stays up for those 3 days, you still don’t have enough time or energy to even come close to achieving the goal. My idea is that maybe during the events maybe you could give more energy at a faster rate just for the event. Otherwise, you might as well stop the events and just let people make them on Mystic Isle. I mean you’re getting nowhere just as slow as you’re already going just playing mystic isle. There’s nothing you can do to get the other creatures you work so hard to achieve and if you don’t get them all you get nothing just a waste of time, sleep and energy ( both personally and in the game). So seriously why play the events when you win and get absolutely nothing for it? I’m tired of playing events just to come so close to completing it and then all my hard time consuming work is just wiped off the board. Why can’t we get the creatures that we’ve worked up to instead of losing it all? What’s the point? I mean we’re either wasting 3 days on an event that gives you nothing at all no matter how close you come or you slowly work to build your creatures up on mystic isle without losing how far you’ve come with them. I don’t know just doesn’t seem worth it after my being up for 3 days and being just one short of completing the blue ox. My problem was I couldn’t replace the energy fast enough to finish it. So I think unless you fix that bug, events aren’t worth a persons time. Might as well take it out of the game, you don’t give people time and energy enough to complete the task.

Another updated review:Awesome game. Best graphics. Best merge gameplay. I suggest this merge game over all others. They are just copies and not as good. Easy to get energy and coins. I’ve been playing for years now. Just a great way to unwind. Haven’t had to spend a dime either. That’s just up to you. If you do encounter a problem, customer service is on it. I recommend this game highly!!UPDATE: Review changed to five stars as ad problem was repaired and game running smoothly. Best merge game out there. I’ve played almost all of them. This one has best graphics and runs the smoothest. All the others are basically copies. My go to game when I just want to relax. Some of the games out there heat up my phone or burn up my battery. This game does neither. You get plenty of rewards daily. Just an all around great game. 👍🏻👍🏻 I’ve been playing this game for a long time now. For some reason now the game keeps crashing almost every time ads come up. They take you to the App Store and back to the ad. Back and forth and back and forth. Never let’s you back in the game. You lose your reward when you close out and get back in. They gave me 200 energy for the trouble the first time I messaged them but the trouble is continuing and they are blaming it on if and how you may be or may not be using your Wi-Fi and it’s beyond their control. Thing is these ads have never done this before. Hate to delete this game as I’ve always loved it but this is soooo frustrating. Always been a 5 star ⭐️ game for me but If they don’t fix it I’m out. It’s not worth it.
