The app regardless of how good it is preys on FOMO by offering an immediate upsell at the start of the 7 day free trial and I mean at the very first second of starting the trial. The whole app industry as a whole is feeling more scammy than ever due to subscription services that are incredibly predatory by forcing you into year long contracts in the hope people do not cancel their subscription’s. If you have a good product allow people to be their own judge after they have actually tried it, stand on your merit and leave the customer alone. We all know most of these services are not worth their value much of the time but prey on the psychological aspects of car salesmen tactics to make money. It’s shameful to see it done on everything including the apps that could be perfectly fine without the sleeze. App devs need to do better.
