Photos X is a private photo and video vault for people who need more than a basic photo locker. Hide private videos, protect secret albums, use Fake PIN decoy access, and keep sensitive media in a local vault without cloud backup.
Use Photos X when the main gallery is too exposed. Move personal photos, private videos, IDs, screenshots, memories, secure notes, passwords, and contacts into a private space designed for everyday privacy. Albums can be renamed, organized, and browsed without exposing them in Photos.
Photos X is built for specific privacy moments: hiding private videos, using a fake password, opening a decoy photo vault, reviewing intruder selfies, and keeping private media local. It protects media, notes, passwords, contacts, and access behavior in one private vault.
Fake PIN opens a decoy vault instead of the real one, helping protect private albums when someone asks for a code or tries to guess access. PIN, Passdigit, Face ID, and two-step login keep the real vault separated from the lock screen.
Break-in Alerts can save an intruder selfie and local attempt record when camera permission is allowed. Facedown Lock adds a fast privacy move when your iPhone is placed face down, so the vault can lock quickly in real situations.
Photos X is designed for local privacy. Your photo library is not uploaded to cloud backup, and the app is built around a no data collection promise.
