For example, humid in Hebrew is lakh, and it is written as lkh. The vowel /a/ is omitted. There are over 9 million people who speak Hebrew worldwide. Most speakers are citizens of Israel. The Hebrew along with Arabic are both of the Semitic language family sharing similarities in vocabulary, grammar and writing. They are both written from right to left.
