Tabz 4+

I love the App so far with one exception.

The one thing that is driving me crazy is that it lacks support for tab groups in safari. I use tab groups heavily and Tabz seems to be unable to access anything in a tab group.

Thank you for your kind review. Unfortunately it is not possible to access the tab group information with current APIs. Maybe with the next MacOS release things will improve …but don’t hold your breath.

Almost perfect - but still the best in its class

I almost never write app reviews, but I was so impressed by Tabz that I felt compelled to sing its praises. I really appreciate the clean UI, the ability to copy a set of tab links, and its lightweight implementation. There are only two features that I wish could be integrated to make it perfect:

1) The ability to change how tabs are grouped. The app groups all tabs by domain, which is helpful in many use-cases — but it would be nice to have the option of grouping them by browser window (e.g., the actual order of the tabs in each window).
2) I love the feature of being able to copy URls of tab sets, but you can only do this by domain. It would be nice to be able to copy URLs for all tabs matching a filtered search, or copy URLs for all tabs within a browser window.
(*) Also, support for Vivaldi browser would be amazing — but I realize it's a niche browser and the feature wouldn't be needed by most users, so I'm not holding this against it.

That being said, I'm still giving it 5 stars because this free app is still so much better than all of the paid alternatives I've tried. The app's thoughtful and elegant implementation is a testament to the developer's skill & talent. Based on the number of reviews, it seems to have unfortunately slipped under the radar thus far — but it definitely deserves more praise & attention given the quality and functionality it provides at no cost.

Hello and thank you for the kind review! It seems having ability to group tabs by window is very popular so I'll make that feature available in the next release together with support for Vivaldi browser as it is a chromium based browser same as Brave and Edge.

This is the tab manager I've wanted

This is great - easily see all the tabs in all your browsers that are open . One has the ability to search for a tab. In addition if yu are a numbers app spreadsheet user you know how frustrating it is that it does not have a feature for listing of sheets in the book - Tabz takes care of that. The icon sits comfortably in the menu bar so it is one click away. GREAT
