ReceiptJar is the best app I have ever used. I’ve been a member for a couple of years now and they have never disappointed me. I’ve recommended this app to many of my close friends & family members and they all agree that this is the best app ever. I also recommend that everyone who reads this review go ahead & download the app for yourselves. I promise you will also be positively impressed just as much as I am. The app is very easy to use & the points accumulate fast. When I’m ready to withdraw my points the gift rewards are sent to my email quickly leaving me feeling very excited to have received my gift rewards. When I needed some assistance Jasmine, & Janella, from ReceiptJar Support we’re both a great help to me & these support agents responded quickly answering all of my questions. My account was turned off and will not be turned back on because they said my email was not attached. My email has always been attached and once my account was shut off and I tried to reach out to them. They responded one time and after I requested that my account be reinstated because I had a $50 credit on it they stopped responding to me. I sent 22 emails asking for help and not a single email was responded to other than that very first one. I did email again from a different email address and I got a very quick response and they asked how I can help but they didn’t have that email on file. I gave them the email of the account and again all responses stopped. I acquired at least $50 in scanning my receipts and now they are keeping that and will not respond to any of my emails to reinstate my account. So my advice is once you get enough receipts to cash out money, be sure to cash out your money as soon as possible or they will just keep it. UPDATE: They have since emailed me asking me to email them in regards to this to get my account reinstated. And just as before, no one is emailing me back again about this. My emails are being read (I use an email tracker,) and I can see that they are being read and ignored. So they still have my $ from inaccurately deactivating my account (I uploaded weekly so it’s not an issue of not uploading) and I doubt I will ever see it. Use Recipt Hog or Fetch instead. They don’t steal your money.

I do like the rewards & amount of points you can get for certain receipts, especially like grocery or pharmacy, receipts, but it keeps getting slower & slower, & the bugs are getting harder to fix. You can’t forward emails anymore, but email connect never works, so I have to just submit tickets anyway to get them to ever count my email receipts. I will get the message on the homepage that I can come back after a certain date to earn more shakes/coins on the homepage, but then that date passes & it suddenly says I need to come back after the following week to earn rewards? So it’s like it skips a reward date, which is rude. when I submit a ticket, they’re like “no you must’ve read the dates wrong, that’s how the schedule works…” So the app tells me one thing of when I’ll get rewards, & the support tickets tell me another thing? now I have found that it will not let me submit any receipts over Wi-Fi… I have to literally turn my Wi-Fi off to upload any receipts. this is the only app where I have to turn off my Wi-Fi to get it to work; everything else works with my very strong Wi-Fi. So I don’t know why it’s gotten so buggy.

I’ve used this app for years. It’s one of many receipt apps I’ve used/using. I currently use 5 different apps for scanning receipts and receiving rewards. I always wait to use this all last because I never know if it’ll work or keep saying Uploading Receipt. Luckily, if I wait a day and try again, it usually works. This is the only receipt app I have this issue with. Every other app takes the picture and uploads it in a few seconds. Sometimes I’ll set the phone down and the screen will turn off with it still trying to upload receipt. Customer service says it’s because of my network connection, but I’ve used it with 2 bars and it’s worked and I’ve used it with 3 bars and it times out. Clearly an issue on their end, they just don’t want to admit it or fix it. I’ve had this problem with the app over the last 2-3 years and with 3 different carriers in various locations. It’s never consistent with when it’ll upload and when it’ll just keep saying uploading. I’ve give higher stars if this issue would get fixed. I still use it and just deal with the frustrations because when it works, it’s great. App developers, please look at Fetch, ReceiptPal, CoinOut, and Frisbee and fix your issues.
