At the end of every chapter there are homework problems ranging from easy to "olympic".

Prof. I.T. (Ted) Young was, by far, the best lecturer I had the fortune of learning from during my college years. He inspired me to become an educator myself. I’m glad to see he’s still finding ways to inspire new generations of students.This textbook provides a clear and concise exposition of stochastic signal processing as typically taught to 3rd or 4th year college students. It presents the topic in a manner that encourages thinking about the meaning behind the equations, and encourages exploration. The exercises ask all the right questions to ensure students will want to dig deep and really understand the underlying concepts.This being a digital book, it has the advantage of including the examples and live demos you’d give during a lecture. There are audio and video snippets, as well as interactive experiments that are fun and highly instructive.What is missing in the book is Ted’s wonderful delivery and his uncanny ability to know when to lighten the load with one of his anecdotes. You’ll have to try to catch him in a lecture room for that.

Displayed Info Stuck in Landscape Mode

After rotating smartphone to landscape mode, the displayed info would not return to portrait mode. Restarting device did not resolve problem. Did not re-install app due to limited data available for device.

On an iPhone the display is only in landscape mode. That is necessary to show certain material side-by-side. On an iPad display in both landscape mode and portrait mode is possible. This was a choice I had to make for the iPhone. Thank you for asking about this and I hope that it will be useful to you in landscape mode.
• This release modernizes StochasticS's underlying web engine for full compatibility and improved stability and performance on current iOS versions.
• We also completed a thorough review of the app's chapters, interactive lab exercises, and supporting code, fixing a number of small bugs — including a few audio/video playback glitches and minor layout issues — along the way.
• For the software developers among us, iOS deprecated the app's original web-rendering component, requiring us to migrate to Apple's current WKWebView framework. A memorable experience.
