watch looks good, and generally functions well, but the app requires more support. frequently loses sync with the watch, though the latest update seems to have made this more of an occasional issue (definitely progress, but still frustrating)also, the new features rolled out need explanation. how do i use sleep tracking, for instance? the sequent website doesn’t have any instructions either. really love what you guys are trying to do, but the software still needs a lot of work

How do you connect to the app? I’m hitting the crown and nothing happens?

App loses sync with watch every few minutes, requiring the watch button to be double pressed to regain the connection. The step counter also seems to only track a few hours at a time before resetting randomly throughout the day, as do the calorie (only in mJ?) and step counts. The fitness functions aren’t live either. The heart rate does seem accurate, but it requires a manual prompt to engage. The watch is very handsome, well-made and comfortable, but I’m not sure the kinetic SuperCharger functions properly as a full day’s wear does not increase the charge at all. This is, of course, the main reason to get this watch! I think for a kickstarter project like this, of course there are going to be lots of glitches during the early roll-out. My critique is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to inform the Sequent team, either online or through the app, what the user experience is like so it can be improved. Today, the watch is barely functional, unfortunately, and the app is completely useless. I hope it’ll get fixed soon.
