The Leak Defense System is the industry leader in water leak shut off systems and smart-home water shut off valves. It's so advanced that you can turn off water to your home, a zone of a high-rise or the entire building with a touch of a button. Detects plumbing leaks and serves as an emergency water shut off too!

System outage

There seems to be a system outage for last several hours. The app simply won’t open and I can’t access my account on web site. It would be nice to receive some sort of email or text notification that this is happening and when to expect resolution. This system is monitoring critical home infrastructure. It was expensive to purchase. We expect better.

Descent App - Great product

Used this for over 5 years. App gets the job done, needs a few improvements to catch up. Product is DEFINITELY worth the premium price (expensive). I’ve tried them all…many homes. Tons of product hardware add-ons available to manage complex large homes. Insurance company Chubb requires it and agent told us Leak Defense is the best in the market (haha, Chubb even owns another brand but said it’s not as good.)

Good but could be improved

This is a good app for controlling the Hydrosolutions Leak Defense system. The app permits one to remotely reset or turn on/off water to the house. However, It does not support Face ID. The app does not allow one to use long or complex passwords even though such passwords are acceptable when used in the website alternative to the app.

Terrible App

Despite having access points throughout my new home and outstanding internet speed (1GB), this app doesn’t work about 40% of the time. Thus, often when an alarm notification is sent to my phone, it can’t be silenced via the app. Instead a “Server Error” appears, with a suggestion to report the error…which does absolutely nothing. Were it not a requirement of my insurance provider, I would throw the entire Leak Defense system in the trash where it belongs. PS - customer support is worse than the app.

• Added landscape mode, made exiting standby easier on older systems, and various other enhancements.
