I have several walking apps and this one would have to be my least favorite. I don’t like the fact that you have to walk 20,000 steps each day to get the most number of WeWards (25 points total). On my best day, I may be getting 13-14,000 so I think 20,000 is a ridiculous amount for the average person. Most of my other walking apps have a max of 10,000 which is doable. I have yet to reach the top number to get all 25 points in one day, and I have been using this app for almost a year. Another feature that I just don’t understand the point of is “xp” which is what you earn to level up. I don’t understand how that helps me earn points towards gift cards so it seems pointless. Overall, I still use the app, but it’s definitely my least favorite. I did recently figure out that I could connect my Fitbit to it which has increased my liking for the app as I don’t keep my phone on me at all times so a lot of my steps would not get counted. Of all the walking apps I use, this one take the longest to cash out from walking alone. I tend to like to build my points up to get the largest gift card option. At this moment though, I can only get the $10 gift card for 1,000 points and I have used this every day for 261 days. I’m at 1,749 points right now. So all to say the payout seems to be slower than other apps but I’ll still use the app because it’s reliable and I can actually cash out. I just think there are better and faster cash out apps out there.
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We understand 20,000 steps can feel high, and XP might seem unclear. We’re glad syncing Fitbit helps. Your thoughts help us improve the app experience for everyone. Keep walking and thanks for staying with WeWard! Clara x WeWard
