I got this for work. The notebook is fine. It’s the app that needs work. The broken English is not easy to understand. I scanned my note and it didn’t recognize the writing correctly. That won’t work for me.

I've been using Newyes Note for a while now, and the overall experience is smooth. Its paper-screen synchronization is very useful—what I write on paper is immediately transmitted to my phone, and the handwriting feels quite natural.The handwriting recognition is accurate for printed text, converting it into editable content and saving me a lot of typing effort. It can store content offline and automatically sync to the cloud when connected to the internet, so I don't have to worry about losing notes. It's reassuring to use for work or classes outside.The interface is designed simply and is easy to get started with. Combined with features like recording and note replay, it basically meets daily recording needs. As an auxiliary tool for study and work, it offers good value for money.

The past reviews have definitely caused this app to develop and get better overtime. I used this with my notebook and scanned the page and was successfully able to understand everything seamlessly without a language gap. There is a Bluetooth prompt -> “NEWYES NOTE Would Like to Use Bluetooth [proceeds with a short phrase of Chinese words/characters]” which I think is supposed to grant access to a smart pen of theirs, it would be helpful if they made this English and to pop up later when tapped on.

I’ve been using the Newyes smart pen and the app for 3 years. I have the second and third generation smart pens. They work great. I like this smart technology to keep my handwriting notes, and review them from time to time on my phone. I use it to keep my working notes. It did a nice job.
