Days in the forecast now come with their own little kitty, picked to match each day's weather. Sunkitty is ready for iPhone Duo. Open it and the forecast spreads out like a book: your kitty and the hours ahead on the left, the details and the week on the right. Closed, the photo runs edge to edge. Also in this update: The app, your widgets and your Watch now show the same kitty for the same weather, place and hour, with a fresh pick each hour. Short city names like Lima and Kobe now find the city instead of an airport that happens to share the letters. Airport codes like LAX still work. Searching with the box empty no longer whisks you off to a mystery airport. With location turned off, a place you look up now comes back in its own time zone the next time you open the app. Switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius now updates your widgets too, not just the app.

The Watch app no longer gets stuck watching the spinner go round and round. If it cannot reach the weather now, it says so instead of sitting there quietly. Also in this update: Switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius updates the whole forecast at once, instead of only the top of the screen. Typing a location on the Watch now uses the standard watchOS text entry, so dictation and scribble work the way you expect. Better VoiceOver labels throughout the Watch app.

A polish update focused on accessibility and a smoother experience: • Full Dynamic Type support, so the forecast scales to your preferred text size, plus VoiceOver improvements throughout (including clearer moon-phase descriptions). • Fixed an issue where the shop did not refresh right after leaving a tip.
