• Home-screen widgets: three widgets for your home screen: Date & Moon, Sun & Moon, and Milky Way. • Real Moon in AR: the Moon in AR now shows its real surface, lit to tonight's phase. • Sun and Moon size in AR: AR draws the Sun and Moon at their true size, so you can see how much of the frame they fill. A new switch enlarges them when you just want to find them. • Clock and date formats: your 12-hour and date-order settings now apply everywhere, including the compass title, the share card and the date strip. The Sun & Moon and Milky Way charts stay 24-hour. • Units: unit settings now reach every card. Some cards used to ignore them. • More accurate stars: stars in AR and Compass move along their proper motion to the date you pick, and Compass calibration uses the live sky. • Number Entry: number fields work the same everywhere: drag sideways to adjust the value, tap twice to type it, and tap × to clear it. • Panorama: choose a fisheye lens and its image circle (180°, 190°…). The card shows the longest focal length that still covers your area and how many shots that takes. Each row lists its own shot count and horizontal turn, using the largest safe multiple of your panorama head's click-stop. • Timelapse: the calculator remembers your interval for each preset. • Tides: your chosen tide station's data loads first. • Shutter Release: clearer messages when a camera can't be reached over Bluetooth or USB (for example "not paired" or "no USB answer"), and unplugging the USB cable now disconnects cleanly. • Feedback: you can download attachments in the feedback chat. • Improved stability.

• New: Glass Effect — Give buttons, sheets, and the time slider a frosted-glass look, with a subtle glass rim on front-page cards. Turn it on in Appearance and adjust the transparency to suit your theme. Glass Effect is off by default; your saved choice is preserved. • Shutter Release improvements — Improved camera discovery and connection handling. You can now return live view to the camera to use its own screen or viewfinder, and Nikon live-view compatibility has been improved. • Swipe to close Settings — Swipe right from the left edge to close Settings or return from a settings subpage. • Calendar and event page improvements — Clearer event icons, calendar legends, and color-coded Sun and Moon rows make upcoming events easier to read. Calendar dates now stay correct across daylight-saving changes. • New: Exif Tool — Open a photo to see its camera, lens, exposure and capture details, plus where it was taken, and show that spot in your maps app. Find it on the Tools page. • Nine new languages — PlanItLive is now available in Arabic, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Norwegian (Bokmål), Polish, Slovak, Swedish and Thai. • Location permission respected — If you decline location access, PlanItLive no longer asks again on its own. It shows Beijing as a sample location until you tap the location label to grant access. • Front-page Moon edge — Removed a thin ring that could show around the edge of the Moon's disk.

• Timelapse: a dropped frame no longer ends the run. If the camera fails to take one frame during interval shooting, the run carries on and the end-of-run report counts the miss. • Bluetooth cameras: when a camera has dropped its Bluetooth bond, the page now tells you so and explains how to re-pair, instead of failing without a word. • The front-page Moon now shows its surface in its real orientation, matching the 3D Compass and AR. • Astro Calendar: in the Day event list, the date label stays pinned at the top while you scroll. • Improved stability: the AR controls stay clear of the time slider, and camera-communication guards stop rare errors from ending a session.

• Shutter Release: control several cameras at once. The camera page can now hold more than one connected camera — switch between bodies with each one keeping its own settings, or fire them all together with one tap, for a two-rig setup shooting the same scene wide and long. • Timelapse report: when an interval run finishes, a report sums it up — frames taken versus planned, elapsed time, interval and hold, start and end times to the second, and whether the run completed or was cut short. • Moonrise and moonset corrected: Moon times now use the same solver as the Sun and the top-of-disk convention every almanac uses. The calendar's Moon view lists each event on the day it actually happens, with each moonset paired to its rise. • Improved stability, including camera-connection fixes.

NEW: Shutter Release — control your camera from the app. Plug your camera in over USB and shoot from the new Shutter Release page in the menu: live view with tap to focus, shutter / aperture / ISO wheels, a manual-focus wheel, video recording, and interval shooting for timelapses. Bluetooth connections offer shutter control only, and Wi-Fi support is coming in a future update. Sony, Nikon, and Canon bodies are supported; Fujifilm, Panasonic, and Olympus/OM System cameras are likely compatible but not yet tested — the full model list is on the page. If a camera misbehaves, tap the report button on the camera preview to send us a diagnostic log. • Panorama: independent horizontal and vertical click-stop increments — for example, your panorama head's azimuth detent for Horizontal while leaving Vertical free. • Polar Alignment: guide stars now account for precession (removing up to ~0.5° of offset), the single-star altitude guidance corrects in the right direction, the clock position switches between decimal and hour:minute with a tap, and daylight-washed planets are no longer offered. • Astro Calendar: around new Moon, a Yallop crescent-visibility rating shows whether to look after sunset or before sunrise, the best time, and how visible the thin crescent should be. • AR: the sky now follows you as you walk — previously it stayed pinned where AR started, so you could drift off-centre. • Fixed the Moon's shape during a lunar eclipse: Earth's shadow now falls across the disk from the direction it really does in the sky. • Wind speed now follows your unit system (mph ↔ km/h); m/s and knots stay as you set them. • Improved stability, including two AR-related crash fixes.

Previously, waning moons could show the craters and maria rotated about half a turn even though the lit phase and terminator were correct. Faster sky-event navigation — Added previous and next controls to the time bar, so you can jump directly between sky events instead of dragging through the day. Calendar access from the time bar — Added a calendar button on the time bar to open the Astro Calendar for the selected day.
