CurrentKey lets you fully customize your environment by supporting advanced AppleScript functionality. This means you can write a script that tells CurrentKey to go to a specific Room or to return specific stats. CurrentKey can also notify your very own custom AppleScript every time you switch between Rooms. This enables you to trigger Room-specific functionality outside of the app. Let your imagination run wild with all the possibilities: turn on cool LED lights when you enter your gaming Room? You can write a script for that! Bring your favorite programming app to the foreground when you enter your work Room? Write a script for that! Assign a specific radio station to play when you enter a Room? Pause a timer when you leave a specific Room? It can be done! The possibilities are infinite.
STATS AT A GLANCE:
CurrentKey Stats makes it super easy to get an idea of how your day is going. Just tap STATS in the app's popover to access your day's summary. Here you'll see your time spent in the day's top apps and a "More about your day" section, with highlights like what time your day started and when you got back from lunch. Because this view is accessible in a popover, you can get your stats even when you are full screen.
DEEP DIVE:
Pour over the specifics of your app usage by clicking the App Stats button. Here you will see satisfying bar and pie graphs of how you've used your apps over the last 48 hours and week. Look at your app usage statistics across the past 30 days, as well as compare this week versus last week, hour by hour. Download .csv data reports for every pie and bar chart included in the app (a total of 12+ reports), so you can go back to your logs at any time. You can enable automatically-generated weekly reports of your day-by-day stats as well!
PRIVACY-FIRST:
Unlike other apps that sync user data to the cloud, CurrentKey Stats keeps your data local on your device, unless you choose to share it. This keeps it private and secure.
How stats works:
The stats in the app are collected while the CurrentKey app is running; it detects mouse-cursor movement or app-switches to know if the app is "active" or not.

Amazing solution to keep track of client work

I absolutely love this tool - I've been able to keep track of my client work more effortlessly, and the ability to have emojis for each room helps me remember what is what (rather than using the generic icons). Also - I love how all the instructions are written in "human to human" language - to help people understand how to use the solution, but also to remind us that there's a team on the other end making fixes, etc. If I could give this a million stars, I would.

I've been looking for a long time, for an easy way to measure the time I spend working. CurrentKeyStats does this well.It immediately improved my productivity by measuring how long I spend each hour/day/week working. I create a "Work" desktop where I do all my work and can measure the time spent there.Also, I had a question about CurrentKeyStats and the developer was quick to reply, was helpful and very friendly. Using the app and the support have been a very pleasant experience.

CurrentKey is a great app - my computer desktop was a mess and multiple desktop rooms didn't help without a good way to organize them. CurrentKey makes that easy and seamless with my workflow - it's made a big difference in my day-to-day. It also provides reporting and stats that help me track my productivity without needing to go to another app.The creator is also very quick and friendly in responding to issues and questions. Both the app and him deserve 5/5 stars!
A ton of new features were just added!
9.0 brought features include the ability to import/export Custom Icons to easily share with friends, and Banner images, which can be made to show up in a corner of your Mac's screen when a new Room is entered. Available via the purchase of CurrentKey Premium for new users.
9.10 adds enhancements to Banners (which can now bounce or slide in, as well as be center-positioned). CurrentKey's AppleScript functionality is now more intuitive, with a default file that includes a bunch of usecase examples), and more!
9.16 adds the ability to change the width and height of an icon's bottom border.
9.18 adds dark mode support to the Icons view in the popover, adds a shortcut to Room-specific app stats in the Room Stats window, and fixes a bug related to the new border-related functionality.
9.22 improves Room Explorer, which now shows Room icons, and fixes an issue where it was not showing sometimes. Adds a new Dynamic setting to what shows in popover. More improvements
