Welcome to the Math 4 Nurses app! This app is geared toward future health care professionals (ie nursing students) or those who are looking for a refresher on the common math problems they will typically encounter on the job. The app is divided into numerous categories, each with its own button on the main screen. The Conversions view allows you to view all the standard Household Measures and Metric System conversions for length, weight, and volume. The Decimals view discusses decimal places and rounding. The Dimensional Analysis (DA) view describes DA and gives examples of solving problems with it. The Questions view has hundreds of real life math problems in all the various categories. It will keep track of your correct and incorrect answers, as well as provide a helpful hint if you need it. Practicing these problems will get you ready for that next math quiz or real life dosage calculation. The Ratios view describes ratios and gives example problems. The References view provides links to commonly used web sites where you can explore more about DA, watch videos, review more details about specific math fundamentals, or find considerably more practice problems. Finally the Rules view allows you to view the standard rounding rules, as well as the Do Not Use list. This app will be a helpful tool in your nursing tool kit!
