I was skeptical about any tool that promised to help me make better choices for my content. While there are some odd suggestions that don’t quite fit many times, overall it has made my content more noticeable to my potential audience than I could manage on my own. It has been valuable for that. While it’s good, it’s not worth it to pay for the service yet. Hashing out ideas for new scripts in vidIQ has issues. My last free attempt to do so kept going the opposite direction that i directed it to. As the script developed, I was asked which option was the best fit. All three choices were wrong, and there is no course correction option available. I have better luck with ChatGPT because even with a limited amount of interaction each day, it resets so I can try again. With vidIQ, the free attempts are gone and my only option now is to pay for service. Without the ability to test it further, regrettably I will never see the value in paying. Perhaps if I was trying to cover the same topics as everyone else, I would see more value in it. But I stumbled into something apparently unique. And vidIQ is trained on following statistically popular topics.

I was on the app and it gives you these really cool suggestions and it’s where you know like you know the little flamingo guy and a Minecraft YouTuber flamingo or yeah on my continent it’s by Kira and Bryson doing weird stuff we’re just little kids having fun or the Kmart chairs and stuff so helpful because of daily ideas like oh Em freaking G and I got an idea where Mario and Luigi baking muffins and oh my God I got over 100 viewers and another one was from two views to 80 views very quick and one of my videos almost got 300 views from methods and like oh my God tag suggestions like I never know what the tag is supposed to be in oh my god don’t even get me started all the keywords oh my God and it helps you compete with each other

I’ve been in this app almost daily, including night. However, when I opened it this morning, there had been a drastic update and the app o lived has now become a nearly worthless weak version of itself. I know you’re trying to improve, but this massive change you’ve made is a few step backwards, to the point where I may not be able to continue with it Main thing is the tags. No longer shows how many characters I have left and some word scores are also no longer there. In fact, where did most or all of the specific scoring go? Like on details, for one. I just opened the app 10 minutes ago and this is only what I found so far. Where’d the checklist go? This is bad, guys. I loved this app until about 10 minutes ago. Sometimes, the old saying applies: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Please put it back the way it was or I’ll probably have to look for a new SEO app. Thank you.

Their customer service is really bad. I was charged 49$ for a renewal which apparently in their terms you can cancel 24 hours before the renew but they won’t send you any heads up 24 hours before charging you. I apologized for the mistake and asked if I could be refunded literally an hour after I was charged, as I have no plans to use the service and I was told their hands are tied, they can’t do it(which is simple terms means, we got your money, we don’t care if you use our services or not) it was surprising how they really don’t care about the customer, there’s so many other services which would give you a refund just for good will, word of mouth matters but I guess, not to them. I won’t ever be using their services again. But yeah just a heads up, if you plan on using this service just to test things be sure to cancel in time or set a reminder as once they charge, they won’t refund you a penny, your money is gone.
