Register your credit card (VISA/MasterCard/JCB/AMEX/Diners) beforehand to make getting off the taxi smoother, without the need to hurriedly pull out your cash or your card. [Precautions for Use of the App]
・Use the app in a location with good reception.
・The GPS location and push notification functions on your device must be turned on when using the app.
・Please be advised that depending on the weather, road conditions, and taxi patronage conditions, it may not be possible to dispatch a vehicle to your location.
・Estimated arrival times are calculated at the time of order and may change due to traffic conditions, etc.
・When ordering a taxi through the S.RIDE app, a pick-up surcharge will be added to your fare according to the individual company’s Terms of Services, in the same way as when ordering a taxi by telephone.
・Please be advised that it may not be possible to dispatch a taxi to areas where taxi dispatches are prohibited.
・There may be some limitations on the functions provided by individual taxi companies. Such limitations may include not accepting online payment, or being unable to input messages or destination after the vehicle has been dispatched.
Our experience was a good one. First we got lost with the bus route and ended up in a different city. Not a good experience for us, so we wanted to make it back to our hotel without problems. My driver did that. He was courteous, on time and drove us with great care. This experience was better than the one I had with another taxi company the day before. Thank you so much.

We used this service on our visit to Japan. I sent my friend a referral and they didn’t give it to her. We had two different drivers take us way out of the way in Order to run up the clock and the customer service just kept sending us a bot response to our complaints. Both also tried to make us pay cash when we had paid by card. Then, it wouldn’t let me delete my card when I uninstalled. And a full week later four charges came through at the same time. I checked the app to make sure they weren’t reposts, and they weren’t. When I reached out the app response basically called me a liar and I was forced to report the charges to my bank to get nearly a hundred dollars back. Also, the charges weren’t even made in the city we stayed in. The city tag was a place we never went to. Just use uber. It works in japan.

I requested a taxi from my hotel. I should not have to leave my hotel property and go search for my taxi down the street and across the street. The app has no gps to walk towards the car. It was very difficult. Unacceptable
