more I like the program, but you need to have it calculate fuel economy even with partial fill ups. Have a button that you can push for partials, other programs I have had had this and had shown the fuel economy calculations.Thank you for the response, that helped I missed it when I was entering the information.
Developer Response Thank you for the review. In order to calculate the fuel economy, it is necessary to fill up the tank. This is because the amount of fuel consumption during driving is not always known. Even if the fuel up is not full, the app can calculate the fuel economy correctly at the next full tank timing by turning off the full tank button on the fuel-up input screen.

I loved this App and used it religiously for over a year. I event payed 99 cents for ad free to help support the developer. I recently had to switch iPhones and re-downloaded the app. None of my data from this app crossed over to my new iPhone. Turns out you have to pay $4.99 for iCloud back up. Now why in the world would I pay you to back up my data to apple’s servers? To which whom I pay $2.99 for 200GB of cloud storage. The developer doesn’t need to charge for this feature because apple offers it as an iPhone feature, all the developer has to do is enable it within their apps. This shouldn’t be behind a pay wall and is a scam in my opinion.
Developer Response First of all, thank you for using the ad-free version for over a year. This app allows you to try the basic features for free, and if you like it or want to use it more conveniently, I hope you will purchase it. The backup feature is one such item.By the way, this app does not actually use Apple's iCloud, and in any case, it is independent of what system is being used.

This program is superb. The input system is easy and intuitive, and the ability to easily track and graph your fuel economy over time is very valuable. Thank you to the developer for his dedication to the program.

Was in search of good app and found it. Really helpful to keep track of fuel consumption for multiple vehicles. Would have been great if maintenance records can be also added
Developer Response Thank you for the review! I'll see what I can do about the maintenance record feature😊 (but it might be challenging to implement).

Hello. I threw out my back.
Anyway, this update is another bug fix.
● Fixed an issue that could cause the app to crash right after launch.
In the previous update, I thought I had fixed the crash that happened right after launch. However, it turns out another crash started occurring in a different part of the app. It happens only rarely, but I’m sorry to those who ran into the issue.
Two updates ago, I updated the app’s overall behavior to support the latest version of iOS. Since then, some unexpected issues seem to have appeared. I do run tests, but because these problems happen only occasionally, it’s been difficult to fully track down the cause.
In this update, I’ve fixed all the parts that looked suspicious, so I’m hoping this finally takes care of it. I’ll still keep an eye on things for a while to make sure similar problems don’t pop up again.
If you enjoy using the app, please consider upgrading. Reviews are also very much appreciated.
Well then again!

Hello. I got a new iPhone.
This update focuses on bug fixes.
● Fixed an issue where alert messages were not displayed
● Fixed an issue that could cause the app to crash shortly after launch
In the previous update, I updated parts of the app related to its overall behavior. During that process, a few issues unfortunately slipped in.
In particular, alert messages that should have appeared in cases such as invalid input were no longer being shown. Since this directly affects usability, I’ve fixed this as quickly as possible in this update.
There was also a rare issue where the app could crash right after launch, which has been addressed as well.
If you enjoy using the app, please consider upgrading. Reviews are also very much appreciated.
Well then again!

Hello. I’ve gained 15 pounds.
Anyway, this update includes a bunch of small, behind-the-scenes improvements.
● Updated older parts of the app to better support the latest versions of iOS
● Reviewed and improved the wording throughout the app
● Updated the images shown in the hint screens
● Fixed various small bugs
This app will soon reach its 7th year since release, and over time, some parts of the app have inevitably become outdated. Lately, much of my work has focused on maintaining and updating those older parts.
In this update in particular, there were sections that would have prevented the app from working properly with the next iOS release, so I’ve updated them to make sure the app can continue to be used without issues. You should now be able to keep using the app with peace of mind.
Even so, there are still other older areas, and iOS itself keeps changing, so this kind of maintenance will likely continue.
This time, I also reviewed the wording across the entire app. Up until now, the wording had mostly stayed the same since the app was released. Looking at it again, I found a few expressions that felt a bit unnatural or slightly off in nuance, so I’ve made some adjustments.
I think the app now feels more natural and easier to use overall, but if anything still feels off, I’d really appreciate your feedback.
Also, with the release of iOS 26, the overall look of apps has changed quite a bit. To match this, I’ve updated the images shown in the hint screens so they better reflect the current appearance of the app. You can open the hint screens by tapping the “?” button on each page.
In addition, I’ve fixed a number of very minor issues that almost certainly no one would notice.
If you enjoy using the app, please consider upgrading. Reviews are also very much appreciated.
Well then again!

Hello! Lately I’ve been living on grilled saury.
Now, this update is all about the latest iOS.
● Updated for the new design in iOS 26
● Fixed minor bugs
With iOS 26, the new glass-like translucent design has become common across the system, so this time I’ve brought that look to this app as well.
I’ve already been using it myself with the new design, and I have to say—it looks great! Especially the translucent tab bar at the bottom—it really makes the screen feel more spacious.
Unfortunately, if you have ads displayed, the layout doesn’t allow for that expanded feel. So if you’re seeing banner ads, I’d recommend trying the ad-free option. It gives you more usable space on the screen, and honestly, it just feels so much nicer to use.
My favorite part is how the confetti effect now passes behind the glass tab bar—it’s such a neat touch. You can see it yourself by tapping “Best” at the top right of the History screen. If you’re using iOS 26 and have the ad-free plan, give it a try!
If you like the app, please consider upgrading! I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review as well!
Well then again!

Hello! I juggled a soccer ball 25 times today.
Now then, this time I’ve got some bug fixes—and a quick announcement.
● Fixed an issue where the hidden/shown status of vehicles wasn’t being saved
● Fixed a rare crash that could happen right after launching the app
After the last update, the app stopped saving the hidden/shown status of vehicles correctly. Honestly, I didn’t notice it myself—thanks to a user report, I was able to catch it. As always, I’m super grateful for the feedback!
This bug didn’t appear during development, so it likely slipped in during the release process. I’ve reviewed the related code, and this time I’ve made sure it works as intended.
Also, there was a rare crash that could occur when you performed an action right after launching the app. I’ve addressed that as well, and I believe things should be stable again.
Now for a quick announcement.
I’m planning to raise the price of the monthly ad-free subscription in the near future. The change will happen in stages over multiple updates.
That said, the prices of the other subscription plans will remain the same. So, if you’re currently on the monthly ad-free plan, this might be a good time to consider switching to the yearly plan. It’s a new option I recently introduced, and the monthly cost works out to be slightly lower than the current monthly plan.
To sign up for the yearly ad-free plan, go to Settings > Remove Ads and tap the Subscribe Now (Yearly) button. If you’re interested, now’s a great time to check it out!
If you like the app, please consider upgrading! I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review as well!
Well then again!

Hello! I was stuck in bed with food poisoning from raw oysters.
Now, this time, it is a bit important update for this app.
● Updated for the latest version of iOS
● Fixed a crash issue on the Trend screen
Time sure goes by quickly—it’s already been about six years since this app was first released. Over that time, some of the internal code had become outdated, some parts were, in fact, no longer compatible with the upcoming version of iOS.
In particular, the code that handles in-app purchases was using an old setup. So this time, I gave that part a major overhaul to make sure the app keeps working smoothly with future iOS versions. The way the app works hasn’t changed, but it’s now more reliable and ready for the long haul.
Also, about the crash on the Trend screen—it had been difficult to reproduce for a while, but while working on this update, I finally stumbled upon the exact conditions that triggered it.
It turned out the cause was something I hadn’t expected, but thanks to that discovery, I was finally able to fix it. I’m sorry it took so long for those who encountered this issue, but I believe the app is now more stable and safe to use again.
If you like the app, please consider upgrading! I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review as well!

Hello! My fortune slip said “Good Luck” this year.
Now, this time, it’s another bug fix.
● Fixed a crash issue on the Analysis screen.
After the last update, I did another check to make sure everything was working properly, and I found a few more issues, so I’ve fixed them.
This particular bug only happened under specific conditions on certain iOS versions, so it took a bit of time to track down.
With this fix, the app should feel even more stable and easier to use.
If you like the app, please consider upgrading! I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review as well!

1.18.2 01/07/2025
Hello! My shoulders are killing me these days.
Now, this time, it’s all about fixing a bug.
● Fixed a mismatch between the vehicle hide/show button and the actual display status.
In the last update, I introduced the vehicle hide/show feature, but a major bug was quickly discovered, and I’ve now fixed it!
To all users who experienced this issue, I deeply apologize. I’m also incredibly grateful to the users who reported the problem—it was a big help.
The issue was that when you tapped the hide/show button once, it appeared unresponsive, but internally, the display status was being toggled. On the second tap, the button would visually react, and as a result, the button’s appearance would end up being the opposite of the actual vehicle display status.
To make things trickier, this bug only occurred on certain versions of iOS. Actually, I hadn’t noticed it until users brought it to my attention.
Developing new features while ensuring compatibility with older versions of iOS is always a challenge, and at the same time, when iOS gets updated, even programs that used to work perfectly can sometimes break. This app has been around for a while now, and because it supports such a wide variety of iOS versions, keeping everything running smoothly can be a bit of a challenge.
That said, once again, I owe a lot to the users who reached out with feedback. Thank you so much!
If you like the app, please consider upgrading! I would appreciate it if you could write a review as well!

1.18.1 12/26/2024
Hello! I’ve been struggling to get out of bed every morning.
Well, this time, I have added a new feature.
● Added the vehicle Hide/Show feature
One of the key selling points of this app is the unlimited number of vehicles you can register. Actually many users switch between multiple vehicles, which is great, but as the number of registered vehicles grows, it can sometimes get tricky to find the one you’re looking for.
In fact, I’ve received feedback from a long-time user saying it’s becoming a hassle to find the vehicle I want to log data for, but I don’t want to delete the records of cars I no longer own.
So, to make the app easier to use in such cases, I’ve added a feature that lets you hide or show vehicles without deleting their data. You can toggle the visibility by tapping the switch to the right of the vehicle name in the “Manage Vehicle Data” section of the Settings screen.
And as usual, I tested this feature myself, and I have to say—it’s pretty awesome.
Here’s why: I’ve got a ton of test data for development saved on my iPhone, alongside my actual vehicles. It used to be a real pain to sift through them all, but now, with this feature, I can hide all the test data, making my daily use so much smoother.
Once again, I’ve been reminded how invaluable your feedback is. A big thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts!
I think this feature will be especially handy for those who have registered many vehicles. It’s easy to use, so give it a try!
If you like the app, please upgrade! I would appreciate it if you could write a review as well!

Hello. I got sunburned from mowing too hard.
Well, this time, I have a bug fix.
● Fixed a bug that caused the Trend screen to crash.
● Improved some display misalignments.
It seems that since the update a few updates ago, crashes have been occurring for unknown reasons. I am sorry for the users who have encountered this problem.
In fact, it is not a frequent occurrence, but rather a rare one, but these rare glitches are quite troublesome. The program looks correct and works fine in normal use, so it is sometimes difficult to pinpoint the cause of the problem.
So, although I investigated the problem again, I was unable to reproduce it and the cause remains unclear, but I was able to narrow down the problem area. This time, I focused on those areas and took measures to make the application more stable, so I would like to wait and see the effect for a while.
Also, there was some misalignment in the display when adding a new vehicle, so I've fixed that as well this time.
If you like the app, please upgrade! I would appreciate it if you could write a review as well!

1.17.1 09/02/2024
Hello. My muscles are sore from too much walking.
Well, here is a small modification this time.
●Adjusted the animation when undoing.
●Improved the input screen so that it does not rotate.
●Fixed some other minor bugs.
When deleting or moving data in the History screen, there is an undo feature, but the animation for that has been bothering me for some time. I have adjusted it this time.
There were cases where the undone data would scroll off the screen and become invisible. The data is still there, but it is not visible to the eye, so it seems as if the data has not been restored, even though it should have been.
I adjust the animation to make sure that the restored data is contained within the screen. I think this will eliminate the problem.
Also, the Input screen has been reworked so that it does not rotate even when the iPhone device is turned sideways.
The screen was originally designed not to rotate, but in rare cases it would rotate, so I have revised the behavior of the screen.
If you like the app, please upgrade! I would appreciate it if you could write a review as well!

1.17.0 04/29/2024
Hello. I've been eating a lot of mochi.
Well, this time, I mainly improved around the graphs.
● Added year to Trend graphs.
● Fixed the display of Analysis graphs.
● Hidden vehicle switch button when only one vehicle is registered.
The Trend graph could only display the month until now, but a while ago, I received a request from a user to display the year.
Actually, I myself had felt that it would be difficult to understand without the year display, but I had originally released it with only the month display because I was having difficulty finding space to display the year, so I had to put off this feature until now, and now it has finally been implemented.
The year display was separated from the month display and placed in the graph. When the number of years increases, the year is displayed every other year due to space limitations, but when the graph is enlarged, all the years are properly displayed.
I encourage users to, especially those who have been using the app since its earlier releases, to zoom in and check the graphs.
Also, I have made some modifications to the analysis graphs. It was particularly noticeable when the graphs were displayed by year, but there was a case where unnatural bars were displayed, so I fixed it.
If you like the app, please upgrade! I would appreciate it if you could write a review as well!

1.16.0 01/28/2024
Hello. I set up the kotatsu yesterday.
Well, this time, I'd fixed some bugs.
●Fixed a bug causing the distance input to be cleared.
There is a feature to switch items by swiping horizontally on the numeric keypad of Distance Traveled input, but I found a bug that the input is cleared as soon as it is switched, so I have fixed it this time.
I am very sorry if you encountered this problem. It should no longer clear, so please try again.
I noticed this problem while I was working on the app myself, actually, and I try to use the app myself on a regular basis because this kind of thing occasionally happens. However, I have been driving less recently, and at the same time, I have not been using the app as often as I used to. I've been a little late in noticing this.
I will be more conscious of this from now on.
If you turn on the "Enter Mileage" item in the Settings screen, the Odometer input screen will change to the Distance Traveled input, so if you are interested, please try it.
If you like the app, please upgrade! I would appreciate it if you could write a review as well!

1.15.1 11/27/2023
Hello. I have walked about 20 km.
Now, I have made some nice improvements to the Distance Traveled input screen.
● Adjusted the layout of the Distance input screen.
● Added a swipe feature to the Distance input screen.
● Fixed some minor bugs.
Thankfully, the trip distance (trip meter) input feature that I added last time seems to be very popular right away. I am glad that it is useful for you.
On the other hand, there are a few things that have been bothering me, so this time, I have made some modifications.
In concrete terms, first, I made some changes to the layout. Compared to the Odometer input screen, the "Next" and "Prev" buttons had been removed, but these slight differences could lead to discomfort, so I changed all of these buttons to be common to the Odometer input screen.
Also, as with the other input screen, I have added a feature to the Distance input screen so that it can be switched between input items by swiping left and right on the keypad.
I have been using these new features for a few days now, and I must say that swiping is very convenient! And the overall feeling of operation is unified and more comfortable than it looks. It's nice.
If you turn on the "Enter Mileage" item in the Settings screen, the Odometer input screen will change to the Distance Traveled input, so if you are interested, please try it.
If you like the app, please upgrade! I would appreciate it if you could write a review as well!

1.15.0 11/04/2023
Hello. I swam for the first time in 10 years.
Now, I have added some experimental features this time.
● The input of the distance traveled is now possible.
● The confetti function has been modified slightly.
I have been receiving requests to input the trip distance (trip meter) instead of the odometer for a long time. I have been wondering how to make this happen, and now I have implemented it on an experimental basis.
The reason I was wondering is that this application is based on the odometer, so if the input is changed to the trip distance, there are cases where the calculation does not work or inconsistencies occur. This was a problem that was difficult to avoid, so I wondered what I could do.
I wanted to respond to the request somehow, so I tried various trial and error methods, and finally decided to use a method in which the odometer is converted to odometer on the spot when the mileage is input.
However, there is a slight limitation: it can only be used to add to the latest odometer. So, for example, if you want to modify the past data that has already been entered, you will still have to enter the odometer as before.
This is the only limitation, so it can be used normally for new data entry. I am already using it, and it is as easy to use as ever. It doesn't feel different and is easy to input. It’s nice.
If you turn on the "Enter Mileage" item on the Settings screen, the odometer input screen will change to the mileage input screen, so if you are interested in this, please try it. This is still an experimental feature, so I plan to add updates and make various adjustments over the next little while.
Also, there is a slightly unusual feature that sends out confetti when you record your best mileage, but I found a very minor bug where you can stop the confetti from flying by tapping the "Best" button at the top of the screen when it is flying, but sometimes the confetti keeps flying. I fixed it. I think now you can stop it reliably.
If you like the app, please upgrade! I would appreciate it if you could write a review as well!

Hello, I watched a movie at the cinema for the first time in 3 years.
Well, this time, there are some changes in Twitter specifications and some minor improvements.
●Removed the tweet function.
●Improved the note display so that it is not cut off.
In the early days of development, I started to implement the tweet function because I wanted to have a function for sharing records. After that, I also added a function to post a screenshot, and the number of users gradually increased, and it was one of my favorite functions that I was attached to.
However, and unfortunately, the Twitter API that was used for the tweet function has been charged for, and I have decided to remove the tweet function.
Also, I have improved the note display because a user pointed out that long sentences were cut off.
I myself use the note field only for simple one-liners, so I have not paid much attention to it until now. The opinions of actual heavy users are always helpful.
For now, I've made sure that no matter how long you type in the note field, you won't see it cut off!

Hello. My air conditioner broke and I'm in a pinch.
Now, continuing from the last update, here are some useful additions.
●Added the hint screens.
●Fixed a minor bug.
The hint display function I added last time was well received, so I added hints this time. Hints have been added to the Input screen and the Change and Analysis graph screens.
Since I have been adding functions little by little to make it more convenient with each update so far, there are unexpectedly a lot of functions. You can see a "?" button on each screen, a hint screen will appear to introduce the features, so please take a look. I am sure you will find some useful functions that you were not aware of.
If you like the app, please upgrade! And write a review, too.

Hello. I have started to practice the piano.
Now, this time the useful features are added.
●Added a help screen.
●Donation of coffee and cake is now available.
I have made Fuel Record as easy to understand as possible so that it can be used without explanation, and in fact I have hardly put any explanation on it, but I was concerned that some features I had developed were not being noticed.
I have introduced the contents of updates each time a new feature was added, but there were many features that went unnoticed if the message was missed. Also, after many updates, there are now more useful features, so, I made help this time so that you can notice them.
In the upper right corner of the history screen, there is a "?" button, tap it and the help screen will appear. There may be a function you were not aware of. Please try out the various functions.
Also, gratefully, I have received an offer for a donation, I prepared it at once.
You can donate coffee and cake from Settings > "Support the Developer". To encourage my development, please do!

Hello. I finally put away my fan heater.
Now, this time, some useful features have been added.
●Enabled to make the text size larger.
●Adjusted the color of the graph display.
●Fixed a minor bug.
Actually, there was a request to make the text size larger.
I myself have become accustomed to the text size and did not feel that it was too small, but after reviewing it again, I realized that it was indeed difficult to read some parts. However, I have been hesitant to make the text larger because it may be too much depending on the size of the device, but recently there are more users with large devices, so I added a function to increase the text size.
If you turn on "Larger Text" on the Settings screen, you can make the text larger. I think it will make it much easier to read.

Well, this is another minor fix.
● Fixed a minor bug.
As a reminder of the previous glitches pointed out to me, I checked again even the functions I don't usually use myself. I found a few subtle glitches, so I quickly fixed them.
Since the beginning of this year, I have only done updates to fix bugs.... I will try my best to update something with new features next time.

Well, this time, a small fix again.
●Fixed a bug in displaying units.
There was a case where km were displayed even if the distance unit was set to miles, so this has been fixed.
I use this app myself regularly and try to correct it whenever I notice something, but since my car displays in kilometers, I never use it with the mileage setting, so I had left it for a long time without noticing the problem.
This time, I was able to notice it after a user pointed it out to me. I really appreciate this kind of feedback because it leads to improvements in the app.

Hello. It's too cold outside, so I'm mostly cooped up.
Well, this update is a bit of a modest fix.
●Fixed a problem with scrolling.
When tapping on "Latest" or "Best" at the top of the History screen, it scrolls to that record, but I noticed that sometimes it didn't scroll to the target point properly. I found out that the recent addition of the search function had affected the scrolling behavior, so I fixed it this time.
In programming, there are times when code added later affects unexpected places, which is always a problem, but it is not easy.

1.9.2 01/26/2022
Hello. I did my best to clean the house this year too.
Now, here are some improvements.
●Enhanced memo search function
The memo search function was added in the last update, but there were still some usability issues, so I made some improvements this time.
For example, when you try to scroll the search results, the keyboard might get in the way, so I've tried to hide the keyboard. If you scroll down a little, the keyboard is hidden. It's a nice way to make the screen more spacious.
Other improvements include the ability to search for words in both upper and lower case letters, support for space-separated "and" searches, and cleanup of a slightly strange looking screen.

1.9.1 12/29/2021
