Combine sounds together to create your own ideal soundscape, set each sound's volume, and save your favorite mixes to play again with one tap. Favorite the sounds you use most to keep them at the top of the list.
Use our advanced sound effects and audio adjustment settings to create your perfect sound with reverb, pitch, a 10-band EQ, oscillation, delay and speed. Unlike other apps, you have complete control of your sound. If you want the rain to sound further away, increase the reverb. If you want the waves to crash slower, lower the speed. If you want the white noise to be at the perfect frequency to mask your tinnitus, you can adjust the EQ. You can tweak your sound however you like to, help shush your baby back to sleep with ease, mask your partner's snoring or create your perfect insomnia relieving soundscape.
Watch our mesmerizing sound visualizer generated in real-time on your device.
Use our sleep timer to turn off sounds when you're going to bed.
Use the app to automatically record your sleeping habits or meditation sessions in Apple Health.

Edit: too bad I cannot add more stars to my existing five star review - the developer read my review, and implemented the suggestions within a week!!!!This is the only white noise app I’ve been able to find where the watch app is actually its own app; all the other watch apps seem to just be controllers for the phone app. And: the sounds are *very* high quality. The app is great as-is and worth the price. But on my wishlist for the watch app: - the ability to set favorite sounds on the watch, or have my phone favorites synced over, so that they can appear at the top of the list. - the ability to make/sync mixes so they can be accessed from the watch
Developer Response
Thanks for your review. I’ve added these features into the watch app in the 3.6 release.
Best App Ever - 10 Stars

I cannot live without this app. I imagine you think I am exaggerating, but let me tell you: this app is worth 10 stars at the very least. It puts my infant daughter to sleep. It puts me to sleep. No one in this family can sleep without it. I can’t even tell you what my willingness to pay is for this thing. I would gladly sign over my paycheck. In addition, the customer service is incredible. I asked a question and Mark answered it immediately. Someone make this man rich if he isn’t already - he deserves it.
Finally! A free, customizable sound machine app!

I’ve been looking for a simple, free sound machine app, and imagine my surprise when every single stinkin’ app I tried either wasn’t remotely customizable or was going to cost me between $30 and $60 a year to use. Um, what? But apparently people are willing to pay that. FYI, you can buy an actual sound machine one time for the same price. Save yourself a buttload of money, people, and download this app!
Good quality masking sounds

Overall very pleased with this app, simple interface Smoothly fades into the noise, and even fades between sounds when you switch between them, though curiously "reset" volume jumps to 100%.Some requests to improve it would include having the volume control be right alongside the sound selection bar, so adjustments can be made according to the changes in unwanted background noise and changes in music I may be playing alongside it. On the Mac, I would expect all dialogs to be able to be dismissed with the Esc key.
