What is the Village Advent Calendar?
A beautiful main scene reveals a gift to open for every day of December up to Christmas Day.
There are a selection of fun gifts available even before the start of December, and the main scene itself is also full of unexpected surprises, gradually becoming more colourful and festive as the big day draws near.
The app runs on most Apple devices. Its free to download and you can open the several presents for free. If you like it, you can unlock the rest of the presents with an in-app purchase or if your lucky, an unlock code gifted from someone else. The app offers endless fascination for all ages.

I loved this!! Looked forward to opening it each day. I paid $5.99 and was able to gift 10 family and friends with the app. They all loved it too. I’m not sure what happened with the reviewer who said they had to pay to open gifts. There was no cost other then the initial purchase. The only change I would make is something a little more exciting on Christmas Day! It was a bit of a let down. That said, I STILL access it to see all the cool animation. I hope there will be a 2020 version. I will definitely be getting it!!!

I did not understand, at first, how to use! I sent an email to the developers and was pleasantly surprised that they answered immediately! They clarified a few things and VIOLÁ, it was so great to log on every day and open a new package & discover a new Village Elf! They also sent a few free gift packs for me to send to others. What a great gesture! A lot of the elves appeared to just throw their hands up and not much else. More involved activity would be fun to see!Great job! Here’s to Christmas 2020’s app!

In order to open up each day, you have to purchase “gifts”. It costs $10 for 20 but then you need an additional 5 if you want to open up all 25 which is an additional $5, totaling $15. Why didn’t you just make it so people had to pay for the app? Because this is just a money grabber. Sorry but I’ll just use the one I normally use, which is FREE!

Sorry GED for the confusion. You can open the many unnumbered presents for free and there are some cool things like a train, countdown timer, owl etc. But to open the numbered presents you ONLY NEED 1 GIFT PACK not 25. If you buy 20 GIFT PACKS you can send a GIFT PACK to 20 Friends or Family and that UNLOCKS all gifts for each of them. That would only cost you $0.75 per person, so it is really good value. We will look to make this clearer in the GIFT SHOP.In the meantime, if you email us at support@adventvillage.com we will send you a code to get 20 Gift Packs FREE to send to your friends and family as a way to say sorry for the confusion.
