Great Wallet Constantly Adding New Features

As the Algorand ecosystem grows, so too does Pera Algo Wallet. Adding DEXs like Tinyman was a huge step forward along with the addition of an in-wallet browser which makes connecting to dApps a breeze. The app is clean and functions well.The only drawback of this app, in my opinion, is a feature that the Defly Wallet does have which is an active Profit/Loss calculation on the assets you swap. It would be very beneficial as it will give users a better understanding of where they swapped Algo for another ASA, and the value (in Algo) that they have either accrued or lost as a result of price fluctuations. Other than that, its has truly grown into a fantastic hot wallet for the Algorand ecosystem.Also, I don’t know if its possible, but to incorporate the bonus you get when swapping, as a result of your Defly tier, into Pera Wallet would be really cool as it would allow for the consolidation of apps being used to interact with the Algorand ecosystem. Although I’m sure there is healthy competition between the two so I am unsure if a partnership such as this would be feasible.

ALGO, and the tech behind it, is (in my opinion) the best crypto currency out there. It is actually decentralized (unlike some that call themselves DeFi but really aren’t), scalable, and secure - the first blockchain I know of that has “solved” the blockchain trilemma. I’m a buy-and-hold kind of guy, and I want to buy and hold a crypto that has some sort of future prospects and solid tech behind it. After doing a couple months of research, I settled on ALGO. I love the foundation and the people behind it (attend their talks, they’re great), their mission, what they’ve built so far, and their future roadmap. As a result, I bought (and continue to buy) ALGO. At the start I held it in Coinbase, until my research into ALGO led me to this wallet. Coinbase offers 6%, the Algorand Wallet seems to offer over 7%. I’d rather keep all my gains, and keep it off an exchange (for security’s sake), so I signed up for Algorand Wallet. It’s incredibly easy to use, and I’ve even convinced a couple friends to start getting into crypto using Algorand Wallet and ALGO (I told this is send them a few ALGO if they downloaded the wallet, who doesn’t love free money?)The future governance plans don’t require you to hold ALGO in Algorand Wallet, but I will continue holding in here as I feel this gives me the best method of staying current and working with the developer’s vision. The only change I will make in the future is purchase a Ledger wallet and link to Algorand Wallet, which is awesome that you can do so to be secure and still stake your ALGO.

Ok so it’s great that pera wallet has more features than the old Algorand wallet, but the app itself needs some help. First, it n the main screen I can only see dollar value of my portfolio. I’m the old ALGO wallet, I could see how many total ALGO I held. Now I have to tap on each wallet separately and it’s annoying. Second there is far too much white space. Like why are lines of text so far away from each other? It’s dizzying between the spacing and font to find the info I want. I wish they could’ve kept the look and features of the old wallet and just added the new stuff. But I’m sure other people like the new look. I mean someone approved it, right? Now let’s talk about the fact that rebranding something that actually gave people trust in Algorand now might feel to some like a scammy bait and switch. Not good. Algorand is the best in crypto and should be treated as such! Renaming the wallet and the weird looking app was not a good idea IMO, but hey, at least ALGO itself is still great!

ERC-20’s (Ethereum, & 1000’s of different tokens on top of that), ERC-721 (Ethereum NFT’s) All USE ETH for Network Gas Fees ($15 ETH to send $2.30 MATIC i.e.) All transactions are only 0.001 ALGO ( liquidity pool swaps, royalties, centralized exchange fees may be in addition). Transferring value very fast(seconds), and unnoticeably low fees(even in the worst exchanges fees), get value from one place to the next to get the next pumping trade, or standing in line at the grocery store, ALGORAND.
