We’re continuously working on improving the app, we’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions at manabox@skilldevs.com.
All prices in the app come as is from the stores but it's possible that some small differences exist. This is because of the update frequency between what's shown in the app and what you can see in the store's website.
Currently ManaBox has support for the following stores and marketplaces:
- TCGplayer
- Cardmarket
- Card Kingdom
- Star City Games
- Cardhoarder
- Mana Pool

Let me start by saying that I have yet to find a single real issue with this app in the two or so years I've had it and used it on a near daily basis. I've recently reached out regarding a small "issue" I'd come across that was woefully minute in its impact and really was used as more of an impetus to sing the devs' praise than anything else. Every update has added useful, functional features, streamlined the ease of use and been well notated in its improvements. The "issue" I'd provided feedback was met with a very quick, professional, and informative response. I am thoroughly impressed with this app and the fact I've not once encountered anything resembling an actual problem in the time I've used it. In a world that throws everything away after it loses its luster, it's rare to find anything that remains functional, useful, and enjoyable after 5 minutes, let alone years. I look forward to years more of continued use and cannot state emphatically enough how great this app is for what it does, so I'll end with this: the state of Magic: the Gathering itself would be nowhere near as dire and uncertain as it is if Hasbro and WotC were as attentive to their product as the devs are to this app, they would do well to take notes.
Best MTG App
Norin the Wary
This app is great for pretty much everything related to magic the gathering. I use it for mostly deck building. It organizes your cards in any way, it lets you search for specific things and abilities similar to scryfall, it shows you the cost of the cards, it does SO MUCH. It lets you save your decks and look at them later and everything. You can even see the ratio of what color your deck is, the mana curve, the % of types of cards, mana generators, ect. I think the commander bracket tool is messed up though, it tries to evaluate your bracket but it’s not accurate. I love how it has an edhc recommendations tab!One thing that I think could be better is the cards scanning capabilities. While it is one of the best at doing so, sometimes a card is not able to be scanned or something and I have to manually enter it. It is a process to enter it in manually. There can definitely be improvements on making it easier to manually enter a card when it’s struggling to scan. Also it’d be nice if the scanner can recognize which set the card is from too.Norin will not be removed from the game while ManaBox MTG is in play because it’s AWESOME!
Fantastic app, just one small update I would love to see...
Jakin L.
I use this app to keep track of my whole collection, and it is one of the best mobile apps I've found to do so. It also has an amazing trading feature, which has been immensely useful - I can't even begin to say how useful it's been, it saves so so so much time. One small feature that I think would make such a massive improvement to the trading feature, would be the ability to choose to remove cards from your collection when you put entries into a trade, and to be able to move cards you've gotten from a trade into your binders/lists/decks/etc. This would be absolutely huge, as right now going through and taking out cards from my binders, as well as manually adding in cards all while referencing the trade window, is a bit of a hassle and takes up a lot of time. I would love to see this in a future update, but I will keep using this regardless as it is otherwise an 10/10 resource for collecting, trading, and organizing!
One Tiny Fix
Judetheboss
I really, really love this app! I can use it casually when I have nothing to do and it does a really good job at displaying cards, keeping your collection in an easily accessible spot, and keeping your decklists nice and tidy. One of my favorite features is the random card feature - it's cool to just see any card at the push of a button. HOWEVER, with that said, there is one tiny issue I have when it comes to navigating menus that frequently pops up when I look at random cards. Tapping the home tab at the bottom doesn't return you to the home page, you have to use the arrow in the top left corner to return all the way back. It's just an inconvenience as I have to move my thumb to an uncomfy spot to navigate the menu or simply go back home - and this is a feature most apps have. I know that is nitpick-y, but if this gets fixed I'd have no issue with it ever. Other than that, 5 stars!
Developer Response
Thanks for the review! Tapping on the home button to go back is a good idea! Meanwhile you could swipe left to right from the left side of the screen to go back.
