点盾云视频加密系统支持一机一码，即一个激活码只能在指定设备上使用。视频版权所有者（以下简称：商家）使用加密客户端对视频进行加密，并在后台创建管理激活码，视频观看者（以下简称：学员）拿到视频后，首次播放需要在点盾云专用播放器中输入正确激活码后才能观看。一机一码就是该激活码只在指定的设备上有效，其他人拿着同样的激活码在其他设备上也无法播放。目前支持离线、在线预创建、联网自动申请三种加密激活模式。
