Simonal was excellent at the repairs I had him do in my apartment. He was very professional, extremely clean and organized. I highly recommend that you requested to do any work in your apartment from electricity to plumbing to small repairs

The 1st time I used this app — and mind you, it will be the only time I use the app) — I wanted to get my couch along with some chairs cleaned. I didn’t see the “sofa cleaning” option since there are sooo many options to pick from.So, I choose the “Personalized service” option. The quote that I got back was €45 for the work, which was estimated to be about an hour.I accepted the offer, and then tried to pay with my Portuguese debit card. The app would not accept the card and wouldn’t provide a helpful error message. I had to select the option to pay in cash.I booked a service on Monday for an appointment on Wednesday. When the technician arrived she told me it would be €155. She explained that I choose the wrong option in the app. I told her that wasn’t acceptable. She then called Oscar. She and I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer service. At which point, I couldn’t kick the technician out of my apartment. My boyfriend said he would go to the ATM to get more cash so we could get the couch cleaned and get the horrible experience over and done.This is NOT acceptable. More than €100 difference is robbery. I felt forced to pay the difference since the technician was in my apartment. Oscar should have warned me of the price difference before the technician arrived. They had 2 whole days to notify me of the discrepancy.

I used Oscar to have a brand new washer & dryer installed. Easy, right? WRONG. The serviceman did not connect the water to the washing machine. I had to book a rectification service and after that the machine could run, but leaked. We had shower the technician a hose still needed to be installed but he insisted not. Oscar would not rectify this. I had to pay another serviceman to come back out and he confirmed, yep, this hose absolutely needed to be installed. This whole process took 24 days. Oscar is offering me 7.80€ when I had to spend over 100€ on a service that was never delivered in full. I also wasted a lot of time. Rating 2 state instead of 1 because the second technician was component. Their support is a joke. BEWARE

You suppose the people assigned to the task have minimal knowledge and experience on the service but I had a lady come in and literally bleached my couch… I submitted a refund request to Oscar and activated the insurance and I was told it was my responsibility to know the couch could only be washed with water and no other products… zero accountability from the Oscar team… my new couch is still bleached and ruined… and had absolutely no help on even intention to help from the team. never booking any services through Oscar again…
