Control your Nerivio device and track your migraine headaches. The Nerivio app controls the Nerivio device - a wireless remote electrical neuromodulation device for the acute and/or preventive treatment of migraine with or without aura in patients 12 years of age or older. This prescribed device is self-applied to the upper-arm and should be used in the home environment at the onset of migraine headache or aura, or every other day for preventive treatment. Track your headaches and migraine symptoms in an easy-to-use advanced migraine diary which is included in the app. To provide you with optimal user experience for managing your migraine, the app may require access to HealthKit for sleep information. The app is very easy to use. It takes you through step by step instructions on how to set everything up which is extremely helpful. There is a major design flaw that doesn't help the migraine attack tracking aspect. The device can be used for prevention and acute treatment. The app only asks about about your migraine pain when you start a treatment and for how many hours, not if you are completing a prevention treatment. If you are completing a prevention treatment you may not have pain, therefore the questions are invalid and making the migraine tracker inaccurate. Another design flaw, having to scan the NFC while it's on you it's pretty difficult when it doesn't want to scan all the time. Then, you have to Velcro the band up before the app times out and tells you to scan again because you took too long to start the treatment. There needs to be more wait time between scanning and starting the treatment before the app times out.

I want to thank you for creating this device. At the time I needed it I was so blessed to know of its existence and that I wouldn’t have to have something similar placed in my brain attached to wires in my buttocks with a five year battery replacement: surgically! Scary stuff for sure. I refused to use narcotics after 20 + years and began my search for help thru many forms of relief. Including acupuncture, chiropractic, medicines, teas, sleep, relaxation music/techniques, food diets/allergens, counseling,etc. I even took to drawing 20cc’s of blood to relieve the pressure/pain. After eleven months of this path I became increasingly agitated with the lack of relief and side effects. I gained 30 pounds from two of the non narcotic medicines , hair loss, problems with my skin versus acne, insomnia, etc. I am 63. the side effects from the Nerivio created electrical impulses to over react in my hands and feet. It would go away eventually. But not the stupid headaches/ migraines. I continued to have rebounding. It was a blessing that you lowered the price for me because I haven’t had insurance for a couple of years. The company I worked for at the time offered it but it complimented the out of state providers and the costs weren’t conducive to practical measures of use here in Utah. So it wasn’t worth the purchase. I wrote all this to say: thank goodness for being here for us. Best Regards, Katherine Dwyer One thing I did want to add; Nerivio is excellent for someone having kidney disorders because with multiple medicines having to go thru your system and being filtered this eradicates that process.

Very difficult to connect but treatment works as a daily treatment

I spend 15-20 minutes every time I want to do a treatment trying to connect this thing to my phone. I then want to throw the entire thing across the room, vs staying calm and meditative, which is the state in which one should be for this. For the love of all that is good, if it’s apple or this app, not sure , but it’s more painful than poking my eyeballs with needles. However, I have chronic migraine disease, which means I get 15+/month so the goal is to do this daily. When I do that I think I’m reducing the frequency and intensity, so thank you to the developers. I do the treatment in combination with meditation and visualization, visualizing the migraines permanently being removed from my body. I think it does help. Best of luck to others! 🙏🏻😀❤️

(If the device is on your arm please remove when connecting.) 3. Turn on the device by pushing the power button (green light will flash slowly). 4. Open the Nerivio App on your phone. 5. Select connect device. You will see a spinning wheel and will be asked to pair the device. 6. When the green “start” icon appears in the center of the screen, you are connected and ready to treat!

WARNING Child account issues

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR KIDS UNTIL APP IS IMPROVED!! We got the Nerivio for my son, don’t know if it works or not as getting a child account is terrible and haven’t gotten it paired. My son does not have an email or phone number and you have to use a separate email for the child, we deleted the extra account we were trying to make for him and that was linked to it and then you can’t use it. They told me it is a known problem that you can’t undelete an account and sent me a new one for free. We tried to set it up again and my husband accidentally deleted it again trying to set up our son’s account and now customer service Daviana says I shouldn’t have deleted it and that I have to pay for a new one. We haven’t even used it once. The app technology is terrible, what a waste. We aren’t stupid, but if it is that easy to accidentally make the same mistake twice and NOTHING they can do to fix it then they need to work on this known issue! And not make the customer pay for their lack of fixing this problem.

Nerivio is indicated for acute and/or preventive treatment of migraine with or without aura in patients 8 years of age or older. It is a prescription use, self-administered device for use in the home environment at the onset of migraine headache or aura for acute treatment, or every other day for preventive treatment.

Safety Information
Contraindications
1 - The device should not be used by people with uncontrolled epilepsy.
2 - The device should not be used by people with an active implantable medical device, such as a pacemaker, hearing aid implant, or any implanted electronic device. Such use could cause electric shock, electrical interference or serious injuries or medical conditions.

Warnings:
Do not attempt to perform any procedure before carefully reading all the instructions
Do not use the device on the heart, chest, neck, head or any other body location other than the upper arm, because this could cause severe muscle spasms resulting in closure of your airway, difficulty in breathing, or adverse effects on heart rhythm or blood pressure
