Cheatsheet is for the little things you never remember: hotel rooms, license plates, luggage combination, ID numbers. Write them down in Cheatsheet and then refer to them anytime with the iOS, Watch, and Mac apps.

On Mac, quickly reference or paste your cheats from the menu bar. On iOS, Cheatsheet is as easy as swiping right on your lock screen, pulling up the keyboard, or glancing at your Apple Watch. Everything syncs to all your devices* via iCloud.

* Sync with iOS devices requires Cheatsheet Pro for iOS, which is a separate in-app purchase in the iOS app.

What’s New

Version 4.0.2

Cheatsheet 4.0.2 fixes a few bugs. Previously: Cheatsheet 4 is here, with folders, font options, undo support, and more!

• Folders: Organize your cheats with folders.
• Font Settings: Customize the editor’s text size and font.
• New Layout: Access all your folders and settings from the sidebar.
• Improved Widgets: Folders make your widgets more useful than ever. You’ll also find new color and appearance options.
• Improved Watch App: Folders, search, fonts, and more.
• Undo Support: Use Command-Z on iPad and Mac or shake your iPhone.

This is a big update, and I have lots more planned for later this year! If you have suggestions or run into bugs, please contact me via Help > Send Feedback in the app — thank you!

Cheatsheet 4.0 requires iOS 14 and macOS Big Sur. Older devices can continue to use Cheatsheet 3.7 and sync via iCloud. Some new features require Cheatsheet Pro.

No longer Syncs

Have to hit manual button on imac app for it to sync with iphone. Reinstalled app and still same problem.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately there is a bug in macOS that prevents the Mac app from syncing changes immediately, but they should sync within a few minutes. If you need them to sync immediately, hitting Sync Now (⌘R) is your best option. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future macOS update.

Perfect for my needs!

I was looking for a simple option to sync my ever-changing notes between all devices (watch, phone, desktop) and this fits the bill! The developers were extremely helpful when I ran into an issue (user error!) and I find this to be such a useful tool to keep my daily list of items at hand and on the ready. 5 stars and highly recommended to those looking for something similar (I tried several other options and this is by far superior)

Thanks for the kind words!

A favorite now on macOS too

Cheatsheet has long been one of my favorite and highly recommended iOS apps. Having it on macOS now is a fantastic way to keep track of the small things that I don't need to remember until I *need* to remember them.

The developer has been extremely responsive when I've reached out with a question.
