The Remidio IRIS app allows established IRIS customers to easily and efficiently capture and upload images to the Intelligent Retinal Imaging Systems platform from the Remidio - FOP device. The app is fully integrated with the IRIS platform allowing for ease in creating patient orders & image upload. With offline use capabilities users can capture images anywhere anytime. Once images are transmitted to the IRIS platform they will be processed for interpretation with licensed medical providers.
The Remidio FOP device is a retinal camera used for capturing photographs of the human retina. It is currently designed for use with devices with the form factor of the iPhone 6s, 7 and 8 and is currently not compatible with devices of a different form factor (such as the iPhone XS, XS Max or XR)

Version 3.3 disables the ability to configure the session expiry time on the device. It is now configured via the IRIS portal.

Version 2.3.1 includes a hot-fix that forces a user to enter their password every time when logging in with Microsoft Active Directory. It overrides Microsoft AD's default behaviour which remembers the user credentials.
Version 2.3 supports 2 new functionalities:
1) The application now supports the re-submitting and re-uploading of orders once they have been uploaded and released for grading.
2) The application now provides multiple reminders and auto-submits orders for grading in the event that an order with images are not submitted for grading or cancelled. A mild warning is first shown if the user adds images to an order and does not release the order for grading. A stronger warning is shown 2 days after that. Orders are auto-submitted for grading after 3 days.

2) The camera screen has had its user interface drastically simplified, and now provides a contrast-enhanced live view for easier image capturing.
