Even macOS Sonoma does not have anything at the global OS level for an easy user accessable date/time stamp. For my work I needed one and even went so far as to try to write an AppleScript routine to do it. But the most current interations of the OS are so locked down I had to go in search for an app. This one works GREAT and has lots of different ways to represent the stamp -- albeit you have to hit the command key sequence followed by a command key paste to make it happen. That last part is probably a bit trickier with all the protections and sandboxing in the more current versions of the OS. But if all you want is a date/time stamp you sould not have to buy something like Textpander (way way overkill) to do it. So this app does the trick. Developer, Please add auto-paste. The OS clearly has date/time stamping at lower levels since it's used everywhere in the logs. Why the OS does not give us access to it as a key sequience I've no idea.

When I originally downloaded the app, I thought it was OK; it helped with being able to put date and time stamps in documents easier than just typing it out manually. However, I suggested that they add a global hotkey that could be configured by the user and it would make it better. ...and they did it!Because of the work I do, date and time stamps are very important to my work. The fact that this will help with that, and the fact that the developer actually listens to to and acts on customer input, is very refreshing.Loving the app, and will definitely be a long term customer!

Purchased this app to help provide a way to insert date and time stamps into various docs. I encountered an issue using this app with another app and wrote to the developer. Within an hour the developer responded and provided me the answer needed to solve the problem. Thank you so much for the quick and awesome support!
