VISUALIZER • MilkDrop visualizer built in: 535 presets, rendered natively with Metal • Full screen with track title and playback controls; ⇧⌘V opens the visualizer, ⇧⌘P brings the player back • Presets: arrows to step through, shuffle, auto-switch with your own interval, favorites and a favorites-only filter • Rendering quality adapts to your Mac, so the frame rate stays smooth FILES • More formats: Ogg, Opus, MP2, AC-3, E-AC-3, Wave64, CAF, AU, SD2 • Ionica now registers as a player for audio files in Finder - double-click a track to open it • Writing tags to an unsupported format reports an error instead of failing silently SOUNDCLOUD • The like button works again, and the like status is correct in the Favorites playlist • Smoother animation when switching between music sources STABILITY • Fixed the most frequent crash of 5.x - the waveform bar on silent files and at the end of a file • Fixed crashes on files whose container reports a wrong length: the waveform keeps what it has instead of taking the app down • Playback no longer quits when the audio engine starts but produces no sound - the player stays paused at the current position • Fixed memory errors in the spectrum analyzer, and made its drawing several times faster • Fixed a crash caused by settings written from a background thread
