I’m giving this app three stars because I love the idea and I want to support the smaller developers out here doing specialized stuff. This would have been the perfect tool for grabbing samples to chop up, etc. I even finally dropped the $17 for AUM, just for this app. But when I record audio into iMPC or AudioShare, there are all kinds of artifacts and noise, like the sound of TV static. I’ve only tried it on these two apps so far, but the problem has been consistent across my brief time with the app: unexplainable noise and hiss in any of my recordings, such that it prevents me from using the app at all. Hope this can be fixed so I can change this to five stars

Generally I use this app for playing backing tracks that I can play over. I’ll plug in to my iPad, dial in a sound using a guitar amp sim app, then I pull up this app on a separate channel in AUM and do a search for what I need to work on (scales styles, etc.). This has helped my playing improve quite a bit. My use of scales has become more impressive, if I do say so myself, my scale knowledge has expanded very well. Scales I didn’t know how to use I was suddenly figuring out how to use within the context of a song.If you’re self taught I think you might enjoy this app. If you have some training in music I think this app will help you sharpen your skills.Other reviews claim it’s buggy but the developer’s been fast to fix those. A bit faster than some people are at fixing their reviews. I use this often and it works great.

I use this app for playing guitar backingtracks while I Run AmpliTube on AUM and everything runs through a Focusrite 18i20 2nd gen as soundcard. Everything goes well, but sometimes this app stops working and the entire AUM stops working so I have to restart everything again. Could you check this? Thanks for reading

Hi, I don’t know what exactly happened, but I went to check manually for an update, because the app has been glitching out, becoming unusable, and it seems the store is trying to make me purchase app for a 2nd time..! I’d love to be able to use the app again, but I’ve already paid once, can anyone help?? I’ve only rated 1star due to the situation, if I can get resolved I will, of course, put it at 5 stars where it belongs! (When it’s not trying to charge multiple times for the same app, only updated..)!
