As someone who’s currently learning modern Hebrew, this app is invaluable - I probably use it dozens of times a day. You can search for words in their conjugated forms, in Hebrew script or transliterated, and the interface is simple and organizes a lot of information into a clear format. Words also have direct links to other words of the same root/shoresh, which is great for understanding connections between vocabulary.Apparently the developer listens to feedback well, so here’s are 3 suggestions I have (in order of most to least important, in my opinion):1. An option to disable transliterations entirely (for the purpose of practicing reading Hebrew script more intuitively, so my eyes don’t immediately look at the romanized version of a word - ideally, I could tap on the word/conjugation to quickly peek at the transliterated version, or maybe having a switch to show/hide transliterations per the whole definition, but just adding a “hide transliterations by default” toggle in the settings would be great)2. Favorites are great but I have a lot of them - maybe have a way to save words to / sort favorites into named lists? That way I can put all words I think are useful for daily life into one, ones about shopping, ones about cooking, religion, etc. - it’d make it easy to keep track of a large number of words3. When you have dark mode on, the logo on the search page is gone, it just looks completely black. This isn’t that important, but I assume it’s the easiest thing to fix, and it looks broken currentlyThanks!

Edit - This is an update on my first review. The feature I was missing before is there now. The developers heard new ideas and implemented them, you can’t really ask for more than that.I go to this app a thousand times a day, absolutely love it. It’s just really useful and straight to the point. It has a nice clean interface that makes it easy to find what you’re after. That’s it, I’m a happy custumer.Thanks!———I hoped this would have the same functionalities as the website, it doesn’t. For this price, I would expect that.The most important part for me, that sets Pealim apart from all other websites for Hebrew conjugation and what keeps me going back to it again and again it is the ability to search for words in their transliterated form, so that us learners that are hearing the word for the first time and have no idea how it’s written, or know how to say it and simply forgot how to write it, can go straight to it, without having to spend precious minutes first finding out if it’s א or ע and ט or ת and ק or כ etc. This makes a huge difference if you’re looking up 30 words a day.That key functionality isn’t there and I wouldn’t have bought the app had I known that.

Great app with extremely responsive developers! I use the website regularly and think this version is excellent. Interface is clean, aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. As with the website I can search by conjugated forms to get an original word plus all it's conjugations and related words. Also words have transliterations, and searching by shoresh is possible. It's incredibly useful.The first thing I noticed upon purchase was the lack of a feature. When I messaged the developer about it, he responded in less than a week! That feature is now part of the app. In fact, it looks like missing features listed in other reviews have generally been added. I found: Search by shoresh, "See also" sections, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and binyanim pual and hufal within the current release.I'm generally skeptical of paying for apps with free website alternatives, but I'm very happy to have bought this. I'll be recommending it to the other students in my ulpan.

Most Hebrew students have to dig through dog-eared copies of 201 or 501 Hebrew Verbs only to find that the one they need is missing—or it’s there but they can find it because they don’t already recognize a form of it as belonging to it and thus can’t find it. If they do find it, they need a magnifying glass to decipher it, and many of the books don’t explain the layout of their pages. And then there’s all those times you don’t happen to have the frustrating book on hand. No more! This app solves those problems AND it’s already in your pocket.
