No need to buy a book, or research for hours and miss out on some great photos on a weekend trip. I was in the airport and reading the news on my phone in the travel section I came across an article about New Zealand. The author said he found all of his location for his photos from this app. So I downloaded it and found some places I didn’t know about on my weekend trip. I have shown my pictures and everyone wants to know where they are and how I found them. I’m not a professional photographer and I travels a lot on business and always take my camera with me. Now I’m adding an extra day just to go spend the day shoot all these places I never would have found. It’s so easy to use every time I get in the car I open it up to see if there is anything I haven’t seen before or should go and shoot.

I have been using LocationScout for years - I don’t even know how long it’s been, but to be honest I just downloaded the app today. If you are a photographer, enjoy sights from images you see from other photographers, or just are a tourist / content creator / influencer looking for the perfect spot to take shots for content and your channel - this is seriously where it’s at. I recommend this website + app to all my photographer friends and it’s really changed the game when it comes to capturing the perfect image for your portfolio. The creator is extremely kind and when I had a question on something, they were able to respond to me within an hour of me sending the email… on the weekend! I don’t know who is reading this but take a chance and download it. It’s freaking awesome.

I can’t explain how valuable this app is. I was stationed in Germany for 40 months and I use this app soo much. I planned countless road trips with this app and meant to many more places and I probably would’ve if I had not have had this app because of the amazing photo spots of this app showed me. The best part about it was with the premium I could just GPS straight to the location which was helpful for me being in a foreign country. 10/10 I always recommend this app to all my photography friends, and I was surprised to find that in most of the various countries if I ever met a photographer, they already knew about this app. For the developer: keep doing what you are doing. This is such an invaluable tool for all of us photographers all appreciate it more than you know.

I’ve been a photographer for many years but I rarely got the chance to travel. When I finally planned a photo trip to Europe, I needed a way to find to best spots near me without wasting tons of valuable time trying to find them for myself. This app was exactly what I needed. It gives you examples of the views and each spot and some examples of the photos that are possible from there. It includes directions as well as advice on parking, and little helpful specific trips like “make sure to bring bug spray” or “sunscreen.” I’ve been using it regularly since that trip and I hope to continue. Thank you for making this and to everyone who contributes!
