After last week's big translation update, I focused on improving the German search results and translating a few missing error messages. -- Manuel

** Translations This is by far the most requested update to this app and I wasn't sure if I as a solo developer can pull this off. But here we are, the app is now available in German (not just the user interface, all 226.000+ entries too ;-)) and I hope this will help you to find beautiful spots around the world even more easily. If your device is set to a language that is supported by Locationscout, the app will automatically switch once to this language. You can also manually select your preferred language in the settings of the app. More languages like Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese are planned for the future. I've also fully reworked the sign up and login process to make it more user-friendly and beautiful. And I've also spent countless hours optimizing the best feature even further: Around Me now loads up to 4x faster to ensure the best possible user experience. -- Manuel

** Discover more with Around Me Now, you can explore the top 3 photo spots around you and any custom position for free until the end of summer. ** Spot Types & bigger Map The spot type (outdoor, indoor, drone) is now shown in each spot to give you a quick overview of what to expect. A much larger map makes room for more details, making planning a trip or finding a spot even easier. ** Better Privacy I've streamlined the registration process — now only 3 fields instead of 6. The last name and country are now optional for all users (can be edited on the website). While these details can enhance your experience (like customizing units or making a name for yourself in the community), I believe it's the right call to keep them optional until needed.
