The game worked BEFORE the upgrade

This game used to work…if you played solo, that is. Several of us purchased it to play when we were isolated during Covid, and the multiplayer games crashed all the time. So I played against the computer when I had a bit of time. It never crashed on a solo game….until I foolishly installed the upgrade. Tonight after it asked me to upgrade it then proceeded to crash 5 times on 1 game! Fortunately it allowed me to resume my game each time I re-opened it and I finally finished it, but I’ll uninstall if this happens again. Needless to say, I’m not very happy.

The other players in the game continually have ridiculous runs of playing cards that would not happen so frequently if you were playing the game in person. I appreciate that the other players’ use of wild cards has become more strategic than it was in the previous version of this game (which is no longer available); however, in general the developers have definitely overcorrected to the point that the game is no longer fun. You will not win even win 1 out of 4, even if you’re an expert player. Sad.

This upgraded version of the game makes it a little more more competitive. The old computer players used to only play their Skippo cards in the first position, but now they play it where it's needed.
