A huge improvement from Dangerous Fellows

Honestly I enjoy the fact that you don't actually need all the crisis outfits or the paid options to get an ending, I finished playing through the first time and got Aarons ending juts fine, with the first attendance check in where you choose an outfit and even the sharing CG's to get some rubies is a huge improvement from their previous game Dangerous Fellows. With Dangerous Fellows I felt like I actually couldn't get through to someone's ending without spending money, and that was insanely frustrating. It may take a while but you can get someone's ending without paying money. Fortune cookies are a blessing and so are the daily check in cards.

For me it’s just meh 🤷🏽‍♀️

The main thing that’s holding me back from really enjoying this game is the story and the characters. First, I don’t like the plot of the Mc gambling all of this money away just to find a stupid ring. Logically, it doesn’t make sense. She has more than enough money to just hire and investigator of some kind to find it for her. It’s dumb to wasted her money like that. As for the characters, I don’t like the mc’s personality. She’s stubborn and selfish when it comes to other people’s feelings which is just inconsiderate to me. As for the guys, they are all okay but they don’t appear enough and they aren’t presented in a way that makes me fall for them. Had the art style not been so pretty, I would’ve stopped playing a long time ago. Lastly, the game system is something that annoys me. The decisions don’t hold enough weight and you often have to lie to gain the affection of a character. And while it’s not one of those gacha games (thank god), there are still these Ruby things that you need which are only attained through ads or paying money. Luckily, you can still play the game without it, but the scenes are just more dull.

Overall, the game is fine. It just doesn’t capture my heart or make me want to continue playing.

I love the game,the characters,the music and art style. One thing I will touch upon though is money. For you to play this game and get good ending you genuinely need lots of money.

I love the story (cause im basic) so I was willing to spend my money. But personally I think you should allow gems to be more affordable. Whether it’s changing the price for gems. Or changing the amount of gems for outfits and responses.

I think Lucy Dream can be really big and get lots of attention if only you didn’t have to spend so much money. A lot of people- playing one of your games the first time will be very discourage to play it again because of the amount of money you need. Especially if they don’t like the storyline or MC already.

Nonetheless, I loved it and it’s gotta be one of my favorite Lucy Dream games :3
