Identity Verification and Information Linkage with My Number Card Users can perform authentication and signing using My Number Card (physical card and smartphone), as well as share information such as name, for services provided by government agencies and private businesses. 2. Setting Up Smartphone My Number Card Users can set up "My Number Card on iPhone," which allows them to carry the functionality of their My Number Card within their iPhone. 3. Receiving Push Notifications of Notices from Government Agencies Users can receive push notifications for notices from government agencies and other organizations delivered to Mynaportal.

I got it to work! - Nov 30, 2024

Watched some tutorials online. I don’t think it uses the camera, because you need to place your iPhone DIRECTLY ON TOP of the card. Haha. I didn’t know my iPhone could read my card like that. Anyway my iPhone 15 Pro Max acted like a card reader and “scanned” MyNumber Card right away. So I changed my one-star review to 5 stars. In short, the instructions on the app aren’t clear. 0 stars for unclear instructions. 5 stars for actually working. Don’t hover your phone over the card like you’re taking a picture. You must place your iPhone on top of the card (direct contact). I did put the top portion of my phone with the camera in the middle of the card. If the app does work for you, please leave a review telling people how to use it. I’m happy that I can see all my info now!

Kept asking re-login portal

This might be the dumbest program I have ever used. To complete one simple step such as register to move out from my one prefecture to another, in every single step it kept asking me to relogin to my portal, unfortunately the navigation was failed without appropriate reason, no way for me to troubleshoot! So I kept looping back to the same problem, and until now I was not able to register my move out, and yet the move in is not acceptable if the move out is not done.

This app doesn’t actually do anything in conjunction with your my number card. You can’t use it to apply for the new card nor can you use it to apply for the stimulus. It’s just four links that take you back to the website that asked you to download the app in the first place.

Improvements to the user experience and minor fixes were made.
